- Raw slipped once again in the ratings. Monday night's edition posted hours of 3.5 and 3.8, or a 3.7 composite rating, with a 5.4 share. Last week's edition did a 3.9 rating.

Raw needs more cowbell.
But seriously, the main event now is killing Raw they had 3 triple threat style matches that blew, Shawn getting pummeled by the spirit squad with HHH involved is blah, Edge not making a move toward the title and this garbage with Foley isn't helping either. They need to inject RVD into the main event spot right f'n now! Oh, yeah and Cena is also in there still, I think.

Raw is not close to having a PPV right now. I think that has a lot to do with the ratings slide. Spirit Squad in the main event could also be a reason lol.

Spirit Squad being the ultimate bad asses is probably hurting them right now as is Super Cena still being champion. People aren't really tuning in because they know there's gonna be no payoff. The DX thing has been teased since WM , and here it is now almost 2 months later and it's still hasn't happened. Maybe they should try and shake things up just a bit. Maybe instead of holfing off on it, have Sabu actually appear and lay out Lawler or someone else. Put the damn mask back on Kane already. Turn Triple H face and Cena a McMahon ass kissing heel. The slow build up is killing me.

"Put the damn mask back on Kane already" -Haha, Kane is so useless now. This spirit squad is ridiculous. I like buildups in stories, but this seems like its taking forever (DX). I wouldnt like to have seen Chyna with a bodysuit under a mask com in and save HBK with a bat through the audience, and leave again the same way, and then have vince storm back to the locceroom and find HHH standing there like 'it wasnt me...' , then grin or something. I just smoked a J, so im a little talkitive okay thats all fornow

At this rate TNA will be catching up to RAW in no time!
In the year 2179 TNA beats RAW in the ratings for the first time! I am calling it right now!

NBA playoff's probably had the largest effect on viewership...you had Game 7 in the Spurs/Mavs and PHX/Clippers series in back to back games. I didn't watch RAW this week for this reason...I know I wasn''t the only one.

That was probably due to the 24 season finale. Oh well, its still over a 3.5...which is still excellent. Its also sad that RAW has almost twice the rating of Smackdown, where RAW is being aired over a cable network, whereas Smackdown is on national TV.
Michael Cole does not equal ratings.

The WWE can give away PPV quality matches for free or throw crap on television hoping that it sticks....and they'll still draw the same ratings (give or take).
The WWE is down to its core audience. It's been that way since 2002. There will be some spikes and some bumps, but ultimately, the ratings aren't going to be drastically changing anytime soon. It means nothing.

If you remember, RAW was drawing over 4.5 when they gave the belt to Edge.
Something different grabbed the audience.
Then they went back to Cena, who's stale as the champ. They're STILL doing Vince/HBK, but now with HHH.
And the rest of RAW is passable at best.
But I love how a 3.5 is a death toll for WWE, but a 1.1 for TNA is reason for mass celebration.
