No man, that is not normal. My SD v R update took like 35 seconds. Is it your connection? Because I was rocking stuff fine earlier.

Ok, I can haz Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm, thanks to Kmart offering $20 in rewards bucks for each.

If stuff takes long to download, I recommend canceling and re-downloading it. Usually works out for me.

The Killzone 3 beta is so much freaking fun, it takes a while to get a groove, upgrade your chosen class. It gets to be some super slick fun.

Does anyone on Dead Space 2 Online actually play as a team like you're supposed to instead of running around doing whatever?

Every single time I try to connect to the online mode, it gives me a connection error, which is bullshit, as I'm able to use the online in Uncharted 2 and the Fight Night Champions demo just fine.

Honestly, after playing the beta, I think I'm going to switch my Bulletstorm pre-order to a Killzone 3 pre-order.

Whats coming out for this weeks update
PlayStation Network
Stacking — Set in a diorama world, Stacking is a third person adventure puzzle game where you play as Charlie Blackmore, the world tiniest Russian stacking doll. He is all too accustomed to being overlooked and dismissed–too small to be of any consequence. But Charlie’s size turns out to be his greatest strength after all. Explodemon — Explodemon! is a 2.5D action platform game with an explosive main character. Mixing classic platforming action with the refined contemporary gameplay of more modern action games, it brings old-school gameplay bang up to date. Tales From Space: About A Blob — Tales from Space: About a Blob is a game about a race of alien blobs that land on an Earth-like planet and start eating everything around them. Eating is just what Blobs do — they can’t really help themselves. Although the Blobs aren’t really out to hurt anyone, mistrustful humans greet them with hostility. Players will interact with the game environment using unique growth and absorption-related control mechanics, experiencing the world at vastly different scales as they progress. Both single-player and co-op play will be supported. Read More: Coming to PSN: Tales from Space: About a Blob for PS3
Plants vs Zombies – Help! The zombies have invaded! And don’t look now, but they’re coming for you next! You’ll need to think fast and plant faster to fend off this mob of helmet-clad, pole-vaulting zombies. Read More: Plants Vs Zombies Coming Soon to PSN!

Reel Fishing II — The great outdoors serve as the perfect backdrop for such realistic fishing fare. This installment of the popular angling series puts its emphasis on a wider variety of fish and lures, improved graphics, and options galore.
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature — In Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, you have just inherited your grandfather’s farm. Unfortunately, it has not been well cared for. The mayor has given you three years to restore the farm and gain the esteem of the local citizens.

Sony, please don't be this stupid, PLEASE!This would if DRM's finally made their way onto consoles. Why doesn't anyone in the gaming industry get it yet? DRM do NOT work! They don't prevent piracy, hell they do the exact opposite, DRMs lead to more piracy!

I agree that it's not a good solution AT ALL but I also see the other side where if we didn't have assholes (sorry but it's true) who tried to steal games and jack up prices for the rest of us, this wouldn't happen.

Well to be fair, it IS Sony's fault that the PS3 got hacked in the first place. They removed Linux support. Linux support is something that usually helps prevent hacking. Without the hacking, there is no piracy. But, of course, Sony removed Linux, so the hackers got to hacking to put Linux back onto their PS3s, sent out the code to others to put Linux on their PS3s, and somewhere down the line some grade A jackass took the code and fiddled with it to where they could pirate games.

It is not Sony's fault that hackers broke the system. It's the hackers fault. They are responsible for their own actions, despite what they say.
