Black pudding, white pudding, haggis, tripe, faggots (yes, that is a food item). Makes me nearly wretch just thinking about them

Mayonnaise. Don't like the way it looks, don't like the taste, don't like the smell, don't think it goes good on anything- hell, I don't even like the name.
If they sold T-shirts that said "WE HATE MAYO!" in the style of those We Hate Cena ones, I'd snatch up five of them.

Wow did I just see a mustard hater, damn that's crazy. Nothing beats a Full English Breakfast with a bit of mustard. Except everything! I also don't understand the obsession with spicy food in general. Yeah, some peppers annd such do add flavor, but others is just seems like their only appeal is to make your mouth burn. Is food really any better when you've burned your tastebuds off with capsaicin?

What foods you don't like but other people seem to enjoy like nobodys business? I'm alright with most foods to be honest. I'm sure someone will mention something to me in this thread and I will realise I hate that food though. I for one HATE blue cheese. I tried to like it because I do like most foods, but the smell and taste of it is nauseating. BTW, I don't care for mayonnaise, French Toast, bread pudding, or cornbread myself.

Capsaicin oil releases endorphins that trigger pleasure in the brain. Hence, a biological reason for so many people enjoying it. The heat clears the sinuses and nasal tract, meaning you can taste more, and want more, so it keeps the cycle going.
As far as the culinary application, hot sauces are often poorly made for heat rather than flavor. Raw chilis usually do have their flavorful merits, and aren't used exclusively for heat. Hence, you rarely see chefs resorting to a premade sauce if they have access to decent chilis.

Beans of any kind. Absolutely hate the texture. Especially refried beans.
Now on the other spectrum, foods I like that others think is gross, anchovies and sardines.

That, and people sometimes use it to make otherwise mediocre or bland food workable, like cheap pizza or lackluster wings. Speaking of which, some wings are good, but I often just don't get into them. I guess maybe it's something you're supposed to guzzle booze to like, but to me, if there are too many sauces around and a bunch of gross wings, it starts to smell like puke.
