I'm convinced that Ted Dibiase has "it", and just hasn't figured out what to do with "it" yet. I'm still shocked that Rhodes is currently doing better out of the two. Because unlike Ted, Cody actually has more charisma than a plank of wood.

So we get the "American Psycho" gimmick that was floating around here a few months ago but Ted instead of Cody? Heh, might as well team them up again, with Cody missing his face and Dibiase missing his money. (ChaCHING) Face......money!!!!!!

I just wish they would turn him face already. He seems to have potential as a face.

I wouldn't worry about DiBiase...they have huge plans for him at Wrestlemania, I have a feeling.

I say they gave plenty of opportunities for Dibiase...he couldnte even get over with the the million dollar belt To be fair, he was given absolutely nothing to do with it. He just carried it for awhile. Ted's odd for me. He's really good in the ring and I do like him, but part of the appeal is how hopeless he is.

I say they gave plenty of opportunities for Dibiase...he couldnte even get over with the the million dollar belt What opportunities? His belt gets stolen by Goldust in a nowhere angle that ends up with him just politely asking for it back. He challenges Daniel Bryan for the belt...and nothing comes of it except a long series of ass-kickings for him. Jobs to Santino. SantinoThen there was the over-the-top-rope challenge where he called out Mark Henry and...promptly got tossed out. And then there was the Royal Rumble proper where he did nothing but get eliminated pretty much. Chavo got a hope spot than him. And then there was last nights RAW. Pretty much everytime he shows his face on TV he just gets chumped out more and more. If those were Ted Jr.'s opportunities, I dread what the actual burial'll look like.

Yeah, I love Ted, but they're just...not using him correctly, it seems. I'm not saying HE'S TEH BURRIEDZ! or anything, but he's definitely got some potential thats being wasted. I hope he breaks out and shows whats he's got. Everyone said the same stuff about Cody last year and then he broke out with the Dashing gimmick. Just so everyone knows, when DiBiase finally blows everyone away, I was already on the bandwagon .

I hate to be 'that guy', but if Daniel Bryan had been booked like DiBiase has this board would be filled with 'WWE SUCKS!! THEY CAN'T BOOK DANIEL BRYAN!!' threads.
Because Ted DiBiase isn't 'an IWC favourite' most people blame Ted for not being over.. when they have given him NOTHING to work with. Sorry but holding a cool looking belt and having music saying you're rich isn't going to make people boo you. A hot woman isn't going to make people boo you either, especially when she seems more interested in getting herself over than the guy she's supposed to be managing.
I do think the guy is a natural face though, he just seems genuinely likeable which is always a problem for a heel! DiBiase can be over when he has a chance, remember when the crowd wanted him to beat the heck out of Orton a couple of years ago. Sure, part of that is a tribute to Orton being over as a heel but that confrontation was building for months during segments which were just as much DiBiase as they were Orton.

But during a brief spot a group of (kids I assume) started chanting "Lets Go Ted" I am holding on to him turning face. Its BOUND to happen.

Do people feel DiBiase Jr have more charisma and "it" factor than Rhodes? I backed (and still backs) Rhodes out of the two when they were in Legacy (though, in my fantasy booking in 2009, I had Ted beat Cody in 2010 Bragging Rights 2010 in a RAW vs SD match).

I'm not sure, i'd say Rhodes probably would have the edge but it's impossible to tell until they actually give DiBiase a real chance.
Only a year ago people were calling Rhodes, CAWdy and Smackdown vs RAW DEFAULT MAN and not just because of the physical appearance but just the general boringness of him.

The big difference is Cody, like his brother, didn't really reach his potential until they got a gimmick that helped distance them from "Son of a famous wrestler"
For whatever reason they haven't done that with Ted, yet. I mean, when they bring in the man who played your father's bodyguard as your bodyguard, there is a very distinct lack of effort.
They need to do something crazy with him. Something that is more than "Ted DiBiase's son"

Something that is more than "Ted DiBiase's son" Turns face and becomes a member of the clergy. Then turns heel when someone finds Hornswoggle crying in a stairwell. Dammit, even the first part of that's ripping off his father.

Yeah, I love Ted, but they're just...not using him correctly, it seems. Yep, the problem is with the booking. I will always say that the way they handled Legacy after the DX feud was a massive dropped ball. Ted and Cody were made after that feud, they looked legit, DX put them over as much as they could. They had the excellent match at SummerSlam, Legacy beat DX clean at Breaking Point by making HBK tap, and at Hell in a Cell they would have won if they stopped f***ing around and pinned HBK. The problem was after that feud, creative did nothing with them. All they had to do was have Legacy come out and demand DX put them on Team Raw, and DX responds with "We know what you guys can do, you're on the team." Cody's recovered from that whole mess after the DX feud, but Ted hasn't. Come on creative, you had both of them over as heels before, you can do it again.
