I'm so interested about it. Where is it from? Where it starts from? What's that? Why X-Pac?
I think my questions are simple. ;D

Basically, it's having no heat at all.

"Go away" heat.
It's when a heel is crapped on, not because he's good at what he does and makes you dislike him (eg. The Miz or Wade Barrett), but simply because there's nothing redeeming about him at all and you just want him off of your TV.

X-Pac heat is when a designated babyface is given consistantly heel reactions. Note that this requires total or near-total heel reactions. Mixed reactions don't qualify.

I believe it's called the Conway Pop here. I thought the Conway Pop was when a wrestler gets no reaction from a crowd, and X-Pac heat is when a face gets heel reactions.

I believe it's called the Conway Pop here. I thought the Conway Pop was when a wrestler gets no reaction from a crowd, and X-Pac heat is when a face gets heel reactions. You're right about the Conway pop (AKA the Haas pop). But X-Pac heat is when the crowd boos someone because they have no interest in seeing them wrestle, not just because they're a heel. Also know as "go away!" heat. Here's the definition from Wikipedia: "Go-away heat" refers to heat drawn by performers in whom the fans are not interested in any capacity and do not want to watch. Heel characters are supposed to be booed (i.e. Roddy Piper in his early WWF years, Bret Hart during his "Canadian hero" angle), and a negative crowd reaction generally means that the fans are interested in the wrestler and will pay money to watch him out of hope he will lose or be humiliated by the babyfaces. However, for a wrestler drawing go-away heat, the crowd ignores face or heel alignment and boos the wrestler because they are actually bored with or have disdain for the performer (not the character) and would rather watch someone or something else. This type of heat is often expressed by audience chants of "boring" or "[wrestler name] sucks" during the wrestler's promos, or during matches where that particular wrestler is currently dominant or in receipt of the spotlight. "Go away" heat is generally not acknowledged by announcers as it indicates that an element of the product is failing to go over with fans. The term "[Wrestler Name] Heat" has been used to describe this kind of heat, with the name of the wrestler receiving it supplied; for example, "X-Pac Heat" was used commonly during the Invasion storyline when X-Pac was booed and his opponents cheered despite X-Pac being cast as aligned with the WWF and thus as a face, simply because the fans disliked X-Pac as a wrestler.

As said above, X-Pac Heat is when a wrestler gets a huge heel reaction because the fans legitimately don't want to him (or her).
The Conway Pop is when the crowd is all-but silent.

"X-Pac heat" is a myth that has grown into Godzilla and I'll tell you why.
The term "X-Pac heat" was supposedly originated during the Invasion angle. X-Pac WAS a heel, but the WWF faction was supposed to be the faces. But who did he face during that angle? Freakin' Billy Kidman and his shooting star press in 2001. Who's gonna boo Kidman in 2001 just because he was with the WCW faction at the time? No one. Kidman was amazing at that time. He was not a heel. In fact, if you remember that ppv, people cheered RVD when he was supposed to be the heel against the popular Jeff Hardy. The fans cheered who they liked.
If you put X-Pac against a guy like Kanyon, who was really a heel and who actually heeled it up on the mic , X-Pac would have been cheered by comparison. And we would never have that term. It wasn't because people didn't want him there, it was because he was a heel on a "face" faction facing a face who was on a "heel" faction.

For a heel, it's a myth. Heat is heat. If you're a heel and the audience REALLY wants you to go away rather than get destroyed or get one-upped by a face, they won't react at all, out of protest or disdain. Because if they boo you, that's a sign for you to get pushed harder.
For a face, it's when a face gets booed because the audience wants them gone or one-upped by someone.

Put it this way, Vickie Guerrero gets true heel heat (excuse me?), heel Khali got "please, GTFO of my TV" heat, and continues to do so as a face.

if the performer makes the audience at home change the channel, or the in-arena audience go to the bathroom, that's X-pac heat. it's a very real thing.
Conway Pop is when the audience just doesn't care one way or the other, to the point of being silent.

Because if they boo you, that's a sign for you to get pushed harder. For a face, it's when a face gets booed because the audience wants them gone or one-upped by someone. This is wrong. It is not a myth, as countless people on this board alone have acknowledged giving X-Pac heat to wrestlers who they do not like. There are some wrestlers who do make fans change the channel. Or they fast-forward the DVR. Or at live events, they just use the match as a piss break. Or whatever. But to say that X-Pac heat does not exist is a lie. Vince isn't stupid -- he knows the difference between a heel who's doing their job well and one who the fans are indifferent about or are just crapping all over. He knows who's getting X-pac heat, and they're not going to get pushed.

since when does Vince care what the fans think of who he decides to push?

I think that 90% of the time that somebody describes "go away" heat, it's because they don't want to admit that the heel is working them.
It certainly exists, but I don't think it's nearly as common as people try to pretend it is.

I think they're very distinct kinds of heat and I'm not disputing your point, but I'd like to see what exactly you mean.
