Funny how no one has mentioned the Foley & Funk chairs flying into the ring incident that took place in ECW. Because it wasn't a planned event. There's no way to ensure Wade won't get hurt by chairs falling onto his exposed flesh. And taking them to prove how 'tough' he is just results in Mick Foley syndrome. I agree. I don't want a crazy, dangerous spot. Just a good finish. I was just remembering how out of control that situation had became and how Foley and Funk were able to protect themselves during it. I in no way want those ECW & XPW style spots to come back

Didn't Foley and Funk both gtfo of the ring there. I know Foley picked up an injury during that spot though.

Absolutely not. That said, I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if TNA have a more dangerous version of said spot at some stage, just to prove how 'edgy' they can be. I don't think even TNA is that stupid. It's just a really bad idea all around.

I'm pretty disappointed that people are voting yes.

Didn't Foley and Funk both gtfo of the ring there. I know Foley picked up an injury during that spot though. Was it the Funk/Foley vs. Public Enemy match? IIRC Foley called for a chair, a fan threw one in the ring, followed by another. One hit Foley on the head by one, and seeing sense he and Funk bailed, leaving Public Enemy to get buried in chairs. One could argue that in this case the spot wasn't that dangerous as the chairs were being thrown in from ringside, therefore not having 30+ feet of freefall to build up speed.

No, that would just be stupid.

the whole stunt looked crap it wasnt convincing as Barrett was protected by the pallett they shouldnt have bothered with it imo.
A more suitable ending would be something like an AA off the stage through some tables obviously there would be some sort of padding at the bottom of stage to protect Barrett so they could tick the health and saftey box while still looking cool.
