Dunno if anyone else noticed it, but during Alberto Del Rio's promo on Raw tonight, the ringside mic pretty clearly picked up what sounded like a kid/tween calling him a "beaner" repeatedly. Boo to you, racist kid.

Well Truth's promises to send him back where he came from didn't help matters either.

If it's the same kid from the Punk promo, to me the kid sounded Hispanic anyways, so I don't think it was racist, just stupid. I didn't hear it during the Del Rio, promo though. He annoyed the shit out of me during Punk's, though.

Well Truth's promises to send him back where he came from didn't help matters either. I jokingly started calling "racist" when he said that. But then again, I hate R-Truth and his music with a passion. Angle or not, I'd think that's something you don't say. "I'm going to send you back to Smackdown" is perfectly acceptable. "I'm gonna send you back where you came from" just sounds racist-y.

I flipped over and caught the Del Rio match and to quote the most Awesome WWE champion in history, "Really? Really?!" Do we really need racial overtones in everything that involves people that aren't white? {Spoiler}And while we're at it, why is it that when you get someone that has a gimmick considered outside the norm, for example Billy and Chuck, it has to be weird and over the top to the point of alienating the audience? I honestly don't think we've seen a face "gay" wrestler ever presented as a threat. As I straight man I'd like to see a big, tough guy come out, kick asses, get massively over then offhandedly mention in a promo that he was gay. Sorry for that tangent but I HATE when someone who's different from the ideal or the norm is treated as bad. Del Rio vs The Racist Kid at Mania, Submission Match. Was that the same kid who trolled Punk's promo? That kid annoyed the schnitz outta me. Explain? I must have missed that. *Tangent put in spoilers, not really political but it's not subject matter everyone's gonna want to talk about.*

He could have been calling him much worse. Besides is beaner really that bad? I'd think it would be no worse than calling someone a yankee, or a gringo.

Yeah, it is pretty bad, at least in my local culture. I'll cosign this one. I'm about five-ten minutes from the border, which means I see a lot of mexicans daily (and I myself am mexican). Trust me, it's definitely not something you want to say.

I'm sure that kid just yelled "boner" because he had an erection from Del Rio's awesomeness.
Or his butt. I don't know.

That‘s like saying it‘s perfectly fine to make fun of anyone‘s particular ethnicity because “it isn‘t a race“. Please explain to me how this makes any sense.
