I wasn't familiar with any of his pre-WWE work but his charisma and ring work on NXT 2 intrigued me enough that I went online and watched some old matches and I was really WOWED. I purposely used the word 'charisma'-I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I think he definitely had the 'it factor'/charisma/whatever you want to call it. Lately, he was one of the only reasons that I watched Smackdown. I don't know if his size would have been a hindrance in WWE or if it's what held him back already. Quite disappointed he's gone, but if he's going to be happier, more power to him. I'll go out of my way to try to watch whatever promotion he's going to be wrestling in nowadays.

I have a few things to say as well, though I will try to be a little more diplomatic: 1) Telling people what they should or should not care about never gets received well. If you had merely made your point (which may very well be valid), then you would not have gotten the same response. Still, the fact that you responded to a meek protest with an insult tells me that you are emotionally driven in this. If you have a reason to feel that way (it is not outside the realm of possibility that you or someone you know met and was extremely put off by Kaval), then your view could be substantiated and you could feel a bit of vindication here. 2) It may not necessarily be about Kaval, but rather a pattern that disturbs us. I don't like that Kaval is leaving, but it fits a pattern that truly irritates me. Kaval was over with a portion of the crowd but that connection was killed by the booking. MVP and Matt Hardy were both over with the majority of the crowd and that was killed by the booking to a degree (they both could elicit reactions from the crowd, but it was not as impassioned as they were before it was made obvious that they were afterthoughts in the minds of the WWE). They both got tired of it and wanted to leave as well. They were not the first to do so and I fear that they will not be the last. I suspect the next to just say "F*** this" is Christian, which might ruffle some more feathers here. I'd tend to agree with Christian as being the next to go, but Christian's already seen where that path leads. He's been to the other pasture, and seen that it's not as green as made out to be. I don't think he'll be leaving if he has a choice in it. Perhaps, but he was given the royal treatment on the other side and made the most of it. Throw in the fact that he is getting older and that reduced schedule plus the chance to occasionally work at Booker T's fed again might be quite attractive.

In my opinion, I really don't buy the whole argument that they had nothing for him. SD is as thin as it gets for talent, so unless they plan on having a whole mess of people debuting in the next 2 weeks from FCW, and they needed to clear out all the talented people to make room for them, then the argument doesn't hold water. And I've never bought anyone's argument that if you're not happy with what you're doing, you should gut it out until it gets better because it's a job. Kaval had a lot going against him in the WWE, and waiting for the whole company to completely change their course of action wasn't going to do anyone any favors. Kaval losing constantly made no sense in the grand scheme of things, and the job he did on SD this week just illuminated that. Hopefully, he'll be happy being somewhere else, and will get a chance to do what he loves, which is entertain the crowd and win.

The problem with the booking today is at the most only six people really matter in their eyes when they do a Raw or Smackdown. In the past six months all the attention was on Cena, Orton, Barrett, Kane, Edge, and occasionally Miz and Bryan with a mix of Mysterio at times. All the rest where just afterthoughts. Heck aside from Kane and Edge's feud, can anyone give me a detailed report as to what's happened on Smackdown these past months?

He was soooooooo damn boring on the mic. I cant say that i'm too broken up about this release. He's the kind of wrestler that shouldn't do too much talking anyway. People just want to see him fight.

The guy is an exciting wrestler, and at worst can make up for a "charismatic" wrestler's lack of wrestling skill in a partnership. There were people here making fun of posters saying that Kaval was being buried. But there really is no kind way to put it. They had a talented wrestler on their hands, and they were too afraid to try doing anything with him.

This is why I question the WWE's management right now. They got a few guys who should be on tv every week in competitive matches. Guys like Evan Bourne and Kaval shouldn't be squash fodder for other superstars. Even WCW had sense enough to put Rey Jr on tv as much as they could and let their work get them over. People tuned in to see Rey jr, just like people are interested enough in Kaval and Evan Bourne to tune in to see them wrestle. Stop squashing potential money making wrestlers for the sake of trying to get those without drawing power over.

My interest waned without Christian, I sometimes forgot to watch after Matt Hardy left, and I neglected to watch after MVP left. I had no interest in the guys that they try to shove down our throats. It is a shame that they gave up on the main event push of Swagger as that could have held my interest, but I just don't care anymore. Hell, I stopped watching NXT as watching it online was too big of a pain in the ass. I usually don't watch most of Raw. I used to be an avid, paying customer. Now I cannot be bothered to watch free programing half of the time.

The more I think about Low Ki's release, the more furious I get. I hate the entertainment company's ideals and ideas of booking a real wrestler. Thank God for ROH.

They shouldn't have split up Kaval and LayCool. . I agree that they shouldnt have split them up, as strange as it was, it actually made LayCool likeable for once.

I think we all know why Kaval wanted his release: someone backstage disrespected his ice cream.

If there's a guy that has always deserved a push it's Low-Ki. I first saw him in 2002 and my jaw was on the floor of how good he was. I know he got jerked around in TNA but if I was them, I would wait till the no-compete clause is gone and would have him win the X title and let him keep it for year where he would beat challengers after challengers. The Goldberg push for the X Division.

And for what it's worth, I've heard rumors of Low-Ki "holding guys" down, but when he came to the GA indy scene a few years back(I wanna say 2006), he was great about putting guys over, most notably a pre-Dark City FIght Club Kory Chavis.
