Isn't the Cobra pretty much a fist to the throat? That'd be pretty devastating, actually... Not even a fist, but your fingers making a sharp angle. If somebody stabbed me in the throat with the cobra I'd certainly be down for three seconds.

I'm a fan of Kaval, but this is getting to the point of bitterness to the level of M. Hardy-Lita. He'll be back in the indies and we can enjoy him there. For now, we can view his previous matches online and find solace. It's time to let it go.

Chavo Guerrero calls out Kaval for wrestling in the indies for years, being an NXT winner and then thinking he 'deserves' people to just hand him something like he's something special when he gets to the 'E; while Chavo himself is a member of one of the most legendary families in wrestling, and he's lucky if he gets a televised match here or there and he's sick of it.
Chavo talks a big game, but it's clear early on that he can't hang physically with Kaval; but he's able to frustrate him for weeks
1st week: maybe Chavo is able to elude Kaval enough to get a countout victory. 2nd week: he takes a page right outta Eddie's book, and does the setup where he intro's a chair into a match, only for it to look like Kaval used it on him. Chavo's got a DQ win and is 3-0. 3rd week: they're in a tag match, whoever the main event heel Chavo is tagging with hit his finisher on Kaval. Chavo blind tags in, and gets the pin, even though he didn't do anything. Chavo's now 3-0
Kaval's sick of Chavo being able to duck and dodge his way to victory, and Teddy Long ( or whoever) agrees.. setting up a stip. match of some sort that's no DQ, and Kaval finally gets the victory and moves on.
He decides he wants the IC belt especially after his one shot earlier at Ziggler. Ziggler and Vickie know he can take it, but they're not gonna let him get a shot this easily. Vickie uses her power as exec. assistant ( or whatever position she holds, I haven't watched SD in awhile) to make it so Kaval has to win X amount of matches in a row before he gets a shot. The catch is, Vickie handpicks the opponents, and Kaval never knows who it is till just before they come out.
They make it a point to have a wide variety of three or four guys of varying styles, Kofi, Khali, etc to demonstrate that Kaval can adapt to any foe, he's fought all styles etc etc. After each victory, Ziggler gets the drop on Kaval making it clear he's never getting the IC belt.. each attack gets more brutal, but every step of the way Kaval is never able to get a hand on Ziggler; until he finally clears the gauntlet and the match is set. Finally the battle for the Intercontinental title is on between the two and Ziggler has nowhere left to run.
There ya go, two months of storylines for Kaval as well as a couple of other midcard guys. Are they perfect or even that great? Eh, probably not but a) it took less than ten minutes to come up with, and b) I'm not getting paid to be Creative.
It really shouldn't be that hard. Not just to find something for him, but for any of the guys.

The fact that Michael cole actually addressed Kavals release on Smackdown (NXT doesnt count) gets me wondering whats going on. Worked shoot? Apparently, he seems to be charging astronomical booking rates, maybe pricing himself out of competition to avoid Daniel Bryan's issue of working indy dates while on a WWE schedule? I know this is looking really deeply into it, but with the WWE Ive learnt to never say never. This time last year I watched Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels hug. I missed Smackdown. What was Coles exact quote (more or less)? I mean, it does sound unusual for them to actually mention that someone has been released like that on TV, retirements aside. No, Cena doesn't count.

Yes, but it has a silly set up and 'rasslin' is SRS BIZNIZ..... No sir, Lulz filled comedy all the time everytime, I'm just saddened the belts arn't whoopee cousins with rinestones...yet. Why does it have to be 100% one way or another? I understand the snips, but wrestling is meant to entertain. Some programs are serious, some are comedy, some are filler, and some surprise even the most jaded. But that's what wrestling is, something for everyone. I just don't understand why we need to attack each other over it. I'm not saying it doesn't matter because it does. We all love it and see it a certain way, but trying to discredit one another because we have different views is foolish. I ♥ pro wrestling no matter if it's labeled hardcore/sports entertainment/or pure.

After reading the smackdown spoilers, I realized that sometimes when ''creative has nothing for you'' not always mean ''sorry, you will never reach anything more far than this''
In a roster loaded with so much with guys with lots of talent, you can't have all the guys being pushed, sometimes they underpush talented guys, and other times they overpush guys that are not very talented, but this is how this business works, sometimes you need to be patient.
We can't nitpick everything, sometimes they will not push a guy that we love, big deal, lots of times we never recognize when the WWE pushed guys that we love and instead scream burial for every single loss without thinking that much in the context
