That sucks. Cena works his ass off for this company. I don't care how clumsy he is in the ring. He lives for the company and I hate seeing guys like that injured

Wow. This could not be worse timing for Cena to get injured. I suspect he was heavily involved in the plans of the upcoming pay per views.

If Cena and Taker is out of WM, its gonna be weird WM. Dear God. A WrestleMania without Cena, Taker, and our first in a long time without HBK. Hell, maybe even HHH? It's a good thing the "Youth Movement" happened when it did. Add Jericho to the list of Superstar. He could have HBK-esque matches.

It doesn't sound like anything too major. If he was able to walk out under his own power, he's probably not hurt that badly.

Without Cena, I'm calling Miz VS DBD at Mania for the WWE title, unless Sheamus somehow wins it before that and defends against the returning HHH.
Then you could have Orton replacing Cena in the storyline VS Punk/Nexus. Or you can have Barrett VS Punk/Nexus.
So...
- Miz VS DBD - Sheamus VS HHH - Orton VS Punk/Nexus
Also you could do DBD VS Punk and Orton VS Miz again.

Best wishes for a quick and full recovery. It's a lousy time of the year for one of the top guys to go down, but it's bound to happen now and again. Hope it's nothing too serious.

And I think it goes without saying that if Cena really is out for a significant amount of time, it means Triple H is coming back ASAP rather than Morrison or anyone else getting elevated. And Vince tries even harder to get Brock to come back. Heck, when is Angle's contract up? Because if it's up within the next few months, Vince will throw everything at Angle. I'd say they could turn Sheamus face, but he's still got Triple H looking for revenge. They could give Bryan a bigger role, since they were teasing a Punk vs Bryan feud and he was part of the original attack. They could also pull the trigger on Drew's faceturn and push into the main event. If Cena is out for a long time, then the WWE is going to really be thanking their lucky stars they really pushed a youth movement.

Austin in 1997 walked out on his own after Summerslam, and it turned out the injury was serious to the point where he couldn't wrestle for 3 months! Unfortunately, it means nothing.

Well...let's hope Wade is not the one who hurt him....that Cena tripped or something. I think if Cena is out long term, you can say goodbye to the brand split. And wrestlers being injured and addressing the crowd is not unheard of but VERY unusual...I'm thinking Hayabusa when he broke his neck, he addressed the crowd telling them to stay calm because they were ready to panic. Why would Cena address the crowd? Also, did the match have its scheduled finish? Edge did the same when he tore his ACL.

MAJOR INJURY CONCERN FOR TOP WWE STAR by Mike Johnson @ 10:58 PM on 12/28/2010
There is concern that John Cena may have suffered a knee injury during a Raw house show in Wilkes Barre, PA. Cena apparently injured his knee taking the Wasteland finisher from Wade Barrett. They quickly went to a finish with Cena winning with some sort of submission when the planned finish was an Attitude Adjustment off the ropes. Cena, who was having problems putting weight on his leg after the match told the audience that if he needed to "time off after tonight", he would, but he wasn't being carried out and then left under his own power, limping.
PWInsider.com is working to confirm the severity of the injury.
=======
Time for Wade to get a new finish.

Apparently Cena's leg was hurt when Barrett hit the Wasteland on him. He had trouble getting up following the move.

so Miz (c) vs Orton vs Punk if Cena's out for WM? If Cena's injured, I'd imagine Punk would get thrown into a program with Miz/Orton. Saying he already took out Cena, time to aim it at the WWE Champion/Orton.

This could be a real problem if he's actually hurt.

They need to play this up if it's true. Get Cena ready for his return already. Have CM Punk and Nexus come out Monday and play footage from the house show of Barrett taking Cena out. Not necessarily show too much of it, but just enough to get Barrett his heat back and make Barrett/Cena 2 a real money maker when he returns.
