I am not into fighting games very much anymore, but I enjoyed the heck out of Street Fighter 4. I haven`t had that much fun with a fighting game since SFII. I don`t think it(SF4) can be topped by any other fighting game today.

I am a Ken man myself, although ironically I can never hit a Shoryuken unless the opponent is dazed.

No love for SF3? Is it because they most of the original cast? Or was it too esoteric?

Best Fighter series ever, bar none. Loved the first animated film and have all the Udon comics. Just a great franchise all round. Although Dee Jay needs more love.

My favorite fighting game. Ever. People who play as Ken/Ryu/Akuma for the sake of playing as them because it's cool or it gets them easy wins need to f*** off. Seriously. There's a s***load of great characters to play as that I'm sure fits your playing style. Stop being a Hadoucheken. F*** Seth. I love playing as Bison, but I HATE playing against shoto players with him. I can only get about a few hits in because they continuously spam Hadouken, preventing me from hitting his Double Knee Press or Psycho Crusher. Head Stomp? Devil Reverse? SHORYUKEN! F*** you. Vega is one of my favorite characters and I loved him in the old games, but I don't feel comfortable playing as him in IV. Too many "zig-zag" move inputs, and his famous speed has been decreased in favor of that annoying bastardo El Fuerte. Cammy > Chun-Li. Good day. Guy is badass. Cody too. I will end you with Adon. That's all you need to know. And speaking of cool alternate costumes, I LOVE Dudley's. I think you know the one I'm talking about.. {Spoiler} Gee, I wonder why? ;D

It's all about Dhalsim for me. Zoning the opposite player for eternity. I just do not have the patience to try that. That and for me he moves way too slow when he's jumping. Give me Chun Li and Vega any day of the week!

I will say my weakness is a computer controlled Blanka, since he's cheap and busts out charge moves instantly, and between both rolls and his electric shock, hard to get close to.

I'm best with Blanka, that probably makes me a noob. Although to be fair I rarely use his electric attack.

I didn't want to play Ryu or Ken (EVERYONE played them) so I picked up the monster and had a lot of fun playing him in the series. While my arcade days are pretty much over (at least for vs. stuff) I had a nostalgia day when I got to play him again in SFIV. Missed the big lug.

Another thing that I always found cool about the series is the character balance. Anybody can be mastered to be a great character to use. I especially realized it when I won 1 out of 40 matches playing Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD online. I got beat from anywhere from E. Honda to Blanka to Dhalsim. I always considered myself great at Street Fighter before that time. Those guys(and girls?) showed me that any character can be good.

I've actually had a fair amount of success against Shoto players as Bison. His crouching HK ruins them when they come down from a Shoryuken. He & Vega are the only people I habitually use EX moves with. You pretty much have to against Shoto players. And that Psycho Punisher? That is THE BEST Ultra in the game, BAR NONE! You'd be surprised how many people can't defend that for shit.

Guy's jump is too floaty for me, that grab is amazing though... Also, nice to see someone else that wrecks people with Adon, he's really fun to use. ALSO, I'm a Chun Li guy myself.

I never got the chance to spend much time with 3rd Strike (my brother sold our Dreamcast about three months after I got it), but when I did I was Sean or Q.

I loved SF3, the Third Strike version of the was one of the best fighting games ever, although I could never really get the hang of parrying. Check the ending out to this tournament match! I can never see that video enough times. That is f***ing ridiculous. It's legendary. It has to be the BEST comeback in fighting game history. Does anybody have any great comeback stories? Here's mine (SSFIV): As E. Honda, I was fighting Ryu (naturally). I lost Round 1 and was one chip damage hit away from being KO'd in Round 2. He was charging up an attack, but I recovered, RIGHT AS HE WAS ABOUT TO HIT ME, with Honda's Ultra followed by his Super. Took him out. I got Round 3 pretty easily after Round 2. I have never had a comeback of that magnitude. It was a Rank-Up Battle too.
