Cammys my main character of choice. It's the ones like Vega and Adon who hop all over the screen that I struggle most with. Akumas actually tend to be the easier ones due to his low health and Cammy has some good moves to deal with him and other shotas (The spinning knuckles go through projectiles for example).
That said, it's been a while since I've been on it. Last time I had a go on it, I realised I forgot alot of the controls oops. Shadow of my former self when it comes to that one now.

I usually like to play as Guy and Cody for some reason, probably because I like Final Fight a lot. I like to beat the cliche of playing as a Shoto and play as someone else for a change, though I don't mind playing as Ryu, Ken, and Akuma, and if Dan counts, I can only play as him if I want to humiliate an opponent, same with Sakura. I kind of got into playing as Adon. He is actually a good character to use.
Did anybody ever play the EX games? I've been kind of wanting to try them for a while.

I played Ex 1 very briefly while I was on vacation. I can't say much about how good it was though, since it was a long time ago.

Arcade Edition's up. Yes, I stayed up this late to get it the second it came out. It's 673.82 MB, it costs 1200 MS Points/$15.
EDIT: I am the 11th best Gen in the world and Yun is f***ing absurdly retardedly good and I f***ing hate him. That is all.
EDIT OF AN EDIT: I got to 5, then it became like a four-way tie, and since I have less PP I'm #7. I'm calling it a day.

Oni is ridiculously easy to beat. Evil Ryu poses a bit of a problem because he's just Akuma with Ryu's diverse ultras, pretty much. Yun is insane, and Yang is f***ing legit, I have a lot of fun using him.

Got this now. As a dhalsim player I have found the following ...
Evil Ryu: Simple to beat as he is pretty much Akuma in disguise, barely a difference bar the ultras which are obvious enough to avoid/block and punish.
Oni: Talk about taking your time, this has to be the slowest matchup in the history of streetfighter, unless they are not very good this match takes ages as Oni likes to play keepaway almost as much as the Yoga Master. Still beatable though.
Yang: So far for me it's been okay, I can handle the rollerblading twin. Certainly first few matches I lost but now I think I have his basics figured and can beat him.
Yun: The reason I use Dhalsim is I have a lot of patience and OH MY GOD (Nappa style Reaction) do I need it in this match. I have lost a fair bit to Mr Skateboard and seem to spend a lot of the match playing dodgeyun. So when I'm not dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodging my way out of his attacks I'm teleporting or drilling my way to a few seconds freedom. Having said that Yun's do seem to like walking/attacking right into a Yoga Flame and short attacks do seem to work. A lot more practice needed but I think my skills are enough to handle the average Yun player. But this is a hard match for me and the Yoga king.
In other news ... No Kens!! I haven't seen one online yet, hurray!

Man, why did I choose to start playing Cammy right when they take out TKCS . Oh well, good thing I started playing Makoto near the tail end of SSFIV, bitch is baller now and a total rape machine, and thankfully Sagat is solid again. Probably gonna stick with those two seeing how they do good against the twins until I find some new tech for Cammy.

Yun will be my main, and not because tier whoring, but because he is really a very fun character, but still I'm having some trouble learning how to press with him, at least I had read that Yun, must press since he sucks a lot when he is at defensive

Yeah Yun has mediocre defense. When he's Knocked down his DP is kind of safe but it can't be FADC and it's only safeish due to distance. He still beats the hell out of Guile though. Man the balancing since SSFIV has sucked, yeah SSFIV was "balanced" but that was mainly due to everyone sucking ass. If another revision happens I hope they put everyone on Yun, Yang, and Fei's level. Those guys actually got options unlike half the cast.

Yun needs to be on the offense constantly but I don't see how that's a weakness. It's just way too easy for him to build meter and the Genei Jin is just so broken that not going on the defense isn't a bad thing.

the genei jin isn't broken here
On 33 is broken

3S Genei Jin isn't really broken nor is it broken in SSFIV, Genei Jin isn't anywhere close to the reason Yun is strong. Yun's strong due to EX Lunge being not only safe on block but giivng him frame advantage, how fast and how much range his command grab is, and how much he has to make you guess off a knockdown or command throw.

He builds meter insanely fast, which is why the Genei Jin is still a problem. Also, from what I can tell, his LP shoulder is completely safe on block, and the EX version goes through fireballs, which normally wouldn't be a problem but since he builds meter like a mofo it's kind of annoying.

LP Shoulder is unsafe on block, yes he builds meter quickly but it's stilll really not that big of a problem. Genei Jin is a great option but it's his mix-up options that make great/

Now if they just upped his voice decibels so we can hear him taunt he'd be perfect, lol.
