So your pizza guy, or your cheerful waiter. Are they gonna extra compensation for their job? I'm pretty much a 10% tipper, and in special cases higher.

I tip at least 20% most of the time.
Shit service gets nothing, but 20% is the average for me on account of the fact I'll never go to a place with terrible service twice.
If I'm at a restaurant (and its not my first time) the service is spot on.

If service is decent yes, if average maybe otherwise no. This only applies to restaurants.

I always tip even if it's lousy. If it's lousy , they get a lousy tip. Someone once mentioned to me that if you don't leave a tip, the server might think you forgot. This way if they really sucked, then you leave a horrible tip.

I have a set standard for waiters/waitresses. My water shouldn't be empty for longer than 5 minutes, I should be asked if everything is okay once, and I should be alerted if our food is going to be later than usual. Based on those set guidelines, my tip varies. I'm not going just tip you guaranteed for bringing me my food. I could go pick it up from the lamps if that's the case. If you do your job well, though? You can make it away from me with a 30 or 40 percent tip depending on how I'm feeling.
Pizza deliverers always get whatever it is rounded up. If I spent 12 bucks on an order? They're getting 20. 22 bucks? they're getting 30. Etc. That's just how I roll. That's a legitimate service, unlike poor waitressing.

It's different here in the UK, as service staff they are covered by the same minimum wage laws as the rest of us, so seen as i dont get a tip for teaching kids or serving in a shop, I see no reason why I should tip someone for bringing me a plate.
I understand in America it's different due to them being reliant on tips to actually make a decent wage, but yeah, over here, not so much, so you have to do a damn good job to get a tip from me, and if you are cheeky enough to just add it to your bill and not give me the choice of whether I want to tip, you can gurantee I wont pay it.

I usually tip about 18%-20%, depending on what I have on me.

I always tip well. I have a ton of friends in the service industry and I know that a good tip could make someones day. Even if I get shitty service I still leave a tip.

I always tip, and I almost always tip extremely well. It typically only costs a few extra bucks to be extremely generous when leaving a tip, and that's a pretty cheap trade-off to spread a little good-cheer into the world.

15% is my base for standard service. Take my order, bring my food, bring my check. It will modify down if they screw up the order or overcharge me on the bill or just generally act like they don't care that I am there. It will modify up if they are friendly and check on us regularly and keep our drinks full and do what they can to help me enjoy my dining experience.
I have tipped as high as 40%, but that was for supremely good service.

Depends on what I have on me, and how much I bought. Usually something like 15% or so, though.

I tip lower if I didn't like the service.

I usually try to do ten to fifteen, though I'm fine with going over or under depending on what I have on me.
Also, based on the pizza guy thing in the preview, I thought this was about porn.

Only if they provide service that warrants it.
My rule is simple: You want that money you "need to live off because your paycheck's too small"? Earn it, damn it.

When I have the money, I tip very well. I'm not always the best customer (I'm particular, not demanding, but particular) and I believe in rewarding good service well. I always tip at LEAST 20% (As in I budget the tip in when deciding whther to eat out or not)
I tip Waitstaff 20% (Base tip regular good service)- 100% (Exemplary service, attentive, etc)
I tip barteders 10-30% (Depending on Basic Bartender-ness attentiveness, complexity of order, accuracy of order)
I NEVER tip at Starbucks though......They make REAL minimum wage AFAIK (as opposed to "Waitstaff" minimum wage), or really any "corporate" job.
