GAH! I hate the WrestleMania Marquee

It's garbage. Everything involved with it now just feels forced. Taker and HHH just stared at it completely eliminating the need for a promo.

I laughed like crazy when Taker looked at the sign. I was thinking this was going through his head:

"What are you looking at, Hunter? Oh, Wrestlemania! Is that coming up shortly? Looks like I need to make some plans, as do you."

*slowly starts looking at HHH*

"Do you want to fight me at Wrestlemania? I think that could be pretty damn good. Then again, we did face off at Wrestlemania 17. No need to do it again."

*Smirks and starts to walk away. Stops at the ropes and turns around quickly*

"Okay, we can wrestle!"

I agree that I'm really tired of the whole "stare in each others face, then stare at the marquee". I don't even watch WWE that much anymore, I can only imagine how sick of it the people who watch every week are.

well yeah, nice interpretation...I was interpreting it as "we don't know why we should bother explaining coming out here, so let's be lazy and do a good-ol boring staredown"

I usually hate it when they hotshot a program with no build just because it's WM. But for whatever reason, I'm not hating this program at all. That said, they should have had a promo tonight, at least from Trips, to explain why he wants this match - instead of just coming out, staring at the sign, crotch-chopping, and leaving. Give me a story. You only have six weeks, so nobody should be staying silent at this point, ESPECIALLY if they're going with the rumored stip.
