In ring wise he is surely one of the most over in WWE right now, couldn't he just face Kofi for the IC title and put on a five star match? Why is a man as talented as him in a 6 person mixed tag match with Snookie and Vickie Guerrero?!!!
I'm just ranting here I'm sorry, John Morrison is freakin' awesome!

Vickie is not in the match, it's Laycool teaming with Dolph. There's no justification for Morrison to wrestle Kofi.

That, and Jomo and Kofi aren't having a five star match in any universe.

That sucks balls. He needs to have a more high profile match. I was set on him cashing in MITB, but I guess that can wait until the MITB PPV.

Do we really need a second thread complaining about this?

It's a step-up from his match last year, IMO.

Um, to the general audience, this IS a high profile match, thanks to Snooki. The only downside is that it's a women's match, but that's why Ziggler and JoMo are there - to show off some real decent wrestling to the casual audience, and also make sure they are that much more well known by the end of Mania. Honestly, both JoMo and Ziggler are going to get WAY more mainstream exposure than if say, they had a 3-way with Kofi for the IC title.

Son. I am disappoint.
Especially since I was hoping for Miz vs Morrison. Now he is in match with...Snooki.
BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH MEDIA ATTENTION.
I don't care.

He should make the best of it. It will gain exposure in the mainstream. He should try showing a personality.

They're giving him a match that will get him plenty of attention, thereby showcasing his wrestling abilities (which are what his character revolves around). It seems that they've got plans for him. When those plans fully materialize, we shall see.

According to the Snooki thread below, you and I are apparently whiny idiots for thinking Wrestlemania should feature any wrestling that might get in the way of the celebrity cameo comedy skits.
Morrison should feel privileged to get five minutes to play second fiddle to a C-list celebrity. He's just a midcarder who can't talk. Imagine what a disaster Wrestlemania 3 would've been if they'd ditched the Ricky Steamboat and Elvira dance-off to waste time giving that midcarder-with-no-mic-skills a 15 minute match or something. I mean, it's not like Ricky f***ing Steamboat is going to bring in any mainstream publicity or buyrates, so he's lucky to be on the card at all.

You seriously think he'll be playing second fiddle to Snooki? If her actions last night were any indication she couldn't dominate a scene if her life depended on it. Expect plenty of Morrison and Ziggler.

He's exactly where he should be on this Wrestlemania card at this point. He is literally going to be the 7th active face on the roster. Like 10th if you count the special guests. And its Wrestlemania. The midcard matches aren't getting 20 minutes.

I havnt been watching Raw of late and am just picking this up from this thread, but I hate any celebrity involvment with wrestling anyway and this is obviously worse since she's in a match at Wrestlemania. The fact that its taking time away from Dolph and Morrison is more annoying still, two talented guys on the brink of the main event. Id have liked to have seen them have a properly built storyline leading to a great 1 on 1 match at Mania where both guys get put over, not stuck with divas and celebrities. I know you'll say its for publicity and media and that but I dont care about that, Im sure if I was Vince McMahon Id care, but as a current fan I can be selfish about what I want to see.
