Taboo Tuesday 2004 was alright, wasn't keen on Survivor Series 2008, but Backlash 2007 is one of my favorite PPV's! Excellent card from top to bottom (with the handicap match being an exception).

Here's what the mailman brought me yesterday and today: That 50 Greatest Superstars DVD is alot better than people give it credit for. If you can put aside the rankings then its one of their best DVD's.

Oh I mentioned in the previous thread about buying Bash at the Beach 2000. Well that stupid store is still stubbornly NOT selling any of their wrestling VHS tapes. Yet they rent them to people. I just don't get it, maybe I should have made a decent cash offer. Anyway's here is me holding the box... So close, yet so far. Its never been more appropriate than right here lol.

As far as I remember, the only season to be released on DVD was the 4th Season. I really wish Season 1 had been released. I had every episode recorded on VHS and watched them loads. Shame they probably wont ever be released.

Meanwhile, just hearing that the Story of Mania will be a two hour doc with matches. Level of interest... falling...

Yeah, thank goodness for All Day and Mania of Mania. This went from "buy-on-day-of-release" to "I'll wait for reviews." Big let down.

The Wrestlemania doc will still be interesting to watch. Seeing Vince choke up about his dad is INSTANT buy for me!

Taboo Tuesday has a weak HBK/HHH match (understandably because of Shawn's injury), and a somewhat good Flair/Orton cage match. Survivor Series 2008 had Vlad and Triple H going for 20 minutes before Edge came out. Not good times.

Just been watching some of the Best of Smackdown 2009-2010 Blu-Ray. This is the first time I've seen WWE in HD and WOW it's gorgeous! Definitely my platform of choice for WWE now.

Its a documentary, 2 hours for the documentary portion is perfectly acceptable. Most WWE docs don't go over 90 mintues.

Here's what the mailman brought me yesterday and today: I've always wondered, are those ratings emblems stickers or are they etched onto the box design? I'd be sort of bugged if every DVD here had a rating stamped on it as it could ruin the art design. Just had wondered this for a while. And about the Mania set, come on you guys, 2 hours is a very lengthy documentary, that's feature film length. ToyfareMark: Why don't you rent out and "lose" the tape and pay the fee that goes into that? It will certainly be much cheaper than spending the reseller cost that it goes for.

What you suggest sounds like it would be beneath ToyfareMark's character.

Sweet! Got Wrestlemania X-8 and Raw the Beginning from Amazon today. An unexpected surprise was that Mania X8 came packaged with that Wrestlemania Insider's Guide DVD from 2000! Now I already had a copy that came free with that Forceable Entry CD that came out way back when but it's all scratched up and isn't playable anymore. Can't wait to watch both these DVDs, specifically Best of Raw
Also planning to take pics of my collection sometime this weekend.

I can be patient when it comes to that tape. Besides, even if I wanted to rent it and keep it, I've asked about it so many times they would probably know what was going on lol.
I can wait.

Just had wondered this for a while. Yep they are printed onto the artwork, and on the spines too. True they are an eyesore, but dems the rules for British DVDs.
