Well, I went to Walmart earlier and came across a boxed set of Extreme Rules 2009 and 2010. I had a gift card, so I was looking to buy something. I might watch them soon, but I read that 2009 wasn't that great.

Well, even if, I would heavily doubt man people would be clammering to rent a VHS late WCW pay-per-view lol. If you don't do it, I would say another collector would, and probably will hike it on eBay.

Maybe someone did do it, and thats why they wont sell it. But the tape by itself is meaningless without the box.

bought a few dvds in the last fortnight, got the nwo tagged classic from SV last week for £8.99 also bought a couple of ppvs second hand that id like peoples opinions of before i watch taboo tuesday 04 backlash 07 survivor series 08 Sorry to say, but the only good PPV from that bunch is Backlash 2007. Taboo Tuesday has a weak HBK/HHH match (understandably because of Shawn's injury), and a somewhat good Flair/Orton cage match. Survivor Series 2008 had Vlad and Triple H going for 20 minutes before Edge came out. Not good times. cheers mate, the backlash card does look good so ill give that a good watch, will just skip through the matches on the other two

I am surprised that there are some movie rental places that still carry VHS. I sometimes wonder how many people still have their VCRs these days. I know I do, but still.

I am surprised that there are some movie rental places that still carry VHS. I sometimes wonder how many people still have their VCRs these days. I know I do, but still. The only VHS tapes this place still rents are their wrestling tapes. Its friggin weird. This is one of those Buy/Sell/Trade places thats also a comic book store, and a sports card/collectibles store. They have thousands of VHS Tapes sitting in boxes under tables that no one will ever buy. The place has a dusty musk like smell thats barely tolerable, probably because a lot of the first floor, and all of the second floor is nothing but old books. I'm pretty much convinced that the comics section is what keeps them in business because the rest of the store is so dirty and unorganized. I always buy something when I go into these kinds of places. Because I feel guilty about going into a place like that and just looking around and then leaving. Usually a cheap WWE DVD or something.

I'm really glad shops like that still exist. I haven't seen many places like it around here. All the ones I know about have gone under.
I do find it weird that they won't sell you the rentals, seems like they'd be eager to have someone get their business on things that don't have much mainstream appeal lol.

Plus I bought this, to my shame. It was only 8 bucks.... I'm a terrible person HAHAHA I should have never revealed that I actually bought that dvd cuz I feel like I made you buy it. Get ready to hear Todd Grisham at his absolute worst/perviest. Finally got around to picking up Best of RAW 2010 on Blu Ray today. I was pleasantly surpised there was an insert in mine. PPV schedule is better than nothing.

I pre-ordered my copy on Blu last week, along with the Rumble 11 Blu. Plus I bought this, to my shame. It was only 8 bucks.... I'm a terrible person HAHAHA I should have never revealed that I actually bought that dvd cuz I feel like I made you buy it. Get ready to hear Todd Grisham at his absolute worst/perviest It will look nice on the media rack I just bought that can hold over 500 DVD's. And The Frito Lay merchandiser who stocks my store looks exactly like Todd Grisham, except he doesn't wear glasses

I mentioned before I bought a new media rack. This thing is huge, my WWE DVD/Blu collection is the first 3 rows, then some of my regular Blu's under it. This thing is nowhere near full. Still have over 4 rows left to fill up lol.

That's some collection. I have something like that, maybe not as wide, and I only have 1 shelf full of WWE DVDs, the rest has books, games, CDs and other DVDs on as well. One day i'll have it filled with WWE stuff.

Man, your collection puts mine to shame. I don't think I have THAT many. Don't think of collections of quantity, but rather as quality. Learning with my collection, as long as you are proud of what you have, then nothing else matters.

Learning with my collection, as long as you are proud of what you have, then nothing else matters. Very true. Anyway, I got a call yesterday from Dimple Records, which is that record store I go to a lot, and they told me that my Chris Benoit is there to pick up. In the other thread, I mentioned this. However, like I said before, it's up to anyone who is comfortable watching anything to do with him to decide.

The only thing I can't stomach are moments and matches that include both Benoit and Nancy. I remember watching Bash at the Beach 1996 about a year after the tragedy. After his match, Benoit has a wrestler locked in the Crossface (can't remember who) and won't let go. Nancy is standing there watching him and pleading that he stopped. It gave me chills, to say the least. If the content doesn't involve Nancy, I can watch it. I just make myself forget about the tragedy and focus on the wrestler (though a few chair shots make me uncomfortable).

^^^ Good point. I still own my Backlash 2004 DVD, with Benoit on the cover art as well. I looked at it a while back and remembered the shots of Benoit's family, including Daniel and Nancy in the crowd and it kind of made me feel a little uncomfortable, but for a while, I have been able to watch his matches with no problems at all.
Anyway, I have a question regarding the Wrestlemania X8 DVD. Now I know there are some gaps that I need to fill for Wrestlemanias. I was wondering, I remember that Wrestlemania X8 was released with the WWF imprint before changing to WWE. However, I remember reading that later on, it was released with the WWE imprint. Which is more likely that I'll end up with if I buy it online? I would rather have the WWF version. I have read that Backlash 2002, as well as Insurrexion 2002, still have WWF references despite being packaged as WWE. Just curious.
