It was a little botch but nothing that would ruin him. I wonder if the rings are a bit shorter down in Mexico. I know they are usually smaller compared to WWE's ring which are gigantic compared to most rings.
He looked very very crisp. I think he will do great in WWE.
I think he and Rey Mysterio could tear a house down.

Wow. I guess "botch" has become another insider term that hasbeen overused to the point people dont actually know what it means.
There was no botch there. When R Truth got tangled up trying to skin the cat, THAT was a botch.

I think people are being a bit harsh on him,no doubt he had some nerves making his debut and the Pyro must have put him off a little along with it.I thought his entrance was incredible,i loved how he pointed to Sheamus at the start, and that springboard was incredible. The kids will love this guy no doubt and i can see him being a huge star for the company.

So he caught himself a little bit on the top rope... big whoop. He more than made up for it with that insane crossbody.
He'll do just fine.

I don't care if he did. The guy is Sabu and Rey Mysterio rolled in to one big ol' f*** off package of hang time. I DEMAND to see Cara vs Morrison vs Bourne.

I think tbh he'd be better off trying to roll in (think Topé con Giro)

It would've come off better had he not grazed the top rope, but he did fine overall. As others have said, it could be different ring sizes, nerves, pyro throwing off his timing, etc.
That cross body more than made up for it. That was absolutely insane.
He'll be fine. If he can sustain performances like that, he'll have the fans eating out of his hand in no time without ever having to say a word.

He broad jumped 9 feet in the air, i'll let him have the gentle graze on the top rope Indeed. Dude got up THAT high, and yeah, grazed a bit. So what? And, most importantly, saved it. Almost every other indy guy who would try that would have landed straight on his head.

And I HIGHLY doubt any one on here could either so no need to bash him for it. I watched it back 3x trying to see if he missed it slightly and yeah he did. But I think they pyro scared him and even though his stomach touched the top rope he rolled through it smoothly enough that it wasn't really noticeable. Hell it went better than Ultimo Dragon's WM match.

How the hell can anyone have a problem with that debut? Erm...have you been to this forum before? :-p Anyway I think I remember seeing in a highlight vid for Mistico that the ramp down in CMLL stretched from the entrance to the ring apron (kind of like how the ramp was in TNA for a while) so he would just have to basically leap the height of the ring apron to the top rope as opposed to here. Maybe doing it via trampoline was new to him? Still, anyone who can find fault with this debut (outside of the sub-par crowd response) makes me sad.

I don't care if he did. The guy is Sabu and Rey Mysterio rolled in to one big ol' f*** off package of hang time. And that's why he botched and tripped on the top rope. Everything he did after that will hopefully make up for it, because it'd be great to see him get over.

I miss when this forum was about celebrating even the worst of wrestling. Now people nitpick even the smallest things.
