Bret Hart and Curt Hennig are probably most remembered for their Summerslam 1991 as it saw Bret win his first singles title however their match at King of the Ring 1993 is even better.

while the Jericho/HBK series was mostly remembered for the No Mercy 2008 ladder match, I personally liked their matches at The Bash and Unforgiven more.

Taker/Foley @kotr98 is clearly their most famous encounter. I however prefer their from "In Your House: Revenge of the Taker". Fantastic Match. Crappy Finish but fantastic match. Way better than Foley getting killed for 30 straight minutes.

Personal opinion? Pretty much any match between Michaels and Hart is better than WrestleMania 12. That match was the most boring f***ing thing imaginable.

You'd be hard pressed to convince anyone that Survivor Series '97 isn't the most FAMOUS Bret/Shawn match. It may be one of the five most famous (infamous?) matches in wrestling history.

I honestly love the Iron Man match and don't get the hate for it. Then again, I am a fan of those kinds of matches where Flair and Steamboat would go for an hour just as a matter of course, so maybe I'm the freak.

HBK/Jericho. I thought their Unsanctioned match at Unforgiven 2008 was better than their Wrestlemania XIX match. This. Also, Steamboat and Rick Rude... their most famous I would say is the one from Beach Blast, but I prefer the Superbrawl match. Owen Hart vs. Shawn Michaels... the concussion match from Raw is most famous, but the In Your House match is the best. Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels... most famous is Mania X, best was Summerslam 95. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels... most famous is Mania 12, best was Survivor Series 92.

I wholeheartedly agree. As kind of a left field one, I'll say the best match in the Warrior/Rude trilogy was their Summerslam 89 match. The WM match is probably more famous because its WM, and the Summerslam 90 match might be more famous because it was for the WWF title, but their Summerslam 89 match was by far the best of the 3. So its a close call fame wise, but I think Summerslam 89 comes in third, Match quality out of those 3 it comes in first by a mile.

Benoit/HHH/HBK (Backlash 2004) >>> Benoit/HHH/HBK (WM XX) Good Choice Diesel! Another one for me, and I have made it very well known in the past. Bret Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith. In Your House 5 > Summerslam 92 In fact I don't like their Summerslam match all that much. Thats just me. I don't respect the SS 1992 match that much because of the fact that Davey Boy was high as a kite during the match, and the IYH match he was as sober as he can be.

Still think the Survivor Series 92 match is better lol. The '97 match is odd. Everyone remembers the finish, and no one really remembers the match. I can't even say that I remember a lot about the match itself just because the finish overshadows everything. Its so disjointed because the finish isn't the agreed upon finish, so there was no heat, and they brawled through the audience for the majority of the match. So in the case of Michaels/Hart, who have several matches, their most famous is probably their worst match in terms of quality by a mile.

Rock/Austin. I guess the Wrestlemania 17 match is their most famous considering the scale of it, but I always preferred the WM 19 encounter. Conversely, I always preferred WM 15. I actually really enjoyed their Intercontinental Title Match from Degeneration X: In Your House.

I always prefered the HBK/Angle match at Vengeance to the one they had at Wrestlemania XXI. I think each match as a standalone match is about on par with the other. The Vengeance match lost a lot though by the fact that it was pretty clear HBK was getting his win back however, whereas the Mania match outcome going in was very unclear (In fact if I remember right, more people than not thought HBK would win that mania match).

Rock Vs. Mankind
The most famous was undoubtedly the I Quit match from the 1999 Royal Rumble, but I thought the matches they had at Rock Bottom: In Your House and the RAW when Mankind finally won the title were much better.

Another one from me, and this one may be controversial. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels Survivor Series 92 > Wrestlemania 12 ::puts up flame sheilds, and puts on blindfold to avoid seeing rolling eyes:: Honestly though, I just love SSeries 92 match more. The iron man just dragged on and on, and other than the ending, all that stood out to me was the timekeeper getting kicked in the face. lol it dragged on and on because it was an hour long! You had to watch that match live to understand it. Watching it on DVD does not give you the same feel.

Hogan vs. Rock is the most popular of Hulk Hogan's comeback series of matches but I think his better matches were against Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels and strangely, Vince McMahon.
I definitely understand anyone disagreeing as I'm simply not the biggest fan of the Rock.

I definitely understand anyone disagreeing as I'm simply not the biggest fan of the Rock. I always hated the Hogan / Rock matches. Was never a fan of either guy, so the atmosphere did absolutely nothing to make up for the fact the match itself was pretty bad. I did like the Kurt Angle one, though - not seen the other two, despite having the WrestleMania 19 DVD.
