Lesnar-Angle Iron Man match from Smack Down is better than their Mania main event match.
I haven't seen either match in many years, but I remember Shawn and Diesel's In Your House PPV match being better than their Mania match.

Though someone mentioned Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit, here's my opinion. While their match at Royal Rumble 2003 is their most famous encounter and undoubtedly a great match, I think I enjoyed their match at Unforgiven 2002 a little more, despite the bad finish. Of course, a lot of their matches were great, no doubt about that. You see I prefer their Ultimate Submission match from Backlash 2001 but it just goes to show how many amazing matches these 2 had together.

Batista/HHH Vengeance 05 > WM 21 Any JBL/Cena > WM 21
Cena/JBL at WM 21 was terrible viewing for me. As good as the Batista/HHH was the HIAC just eclipsed it.

The stage of Wrestlemania makes matches mean more. Lakers/Celtics game 7 was not hat great of a game, but it was the stage of the game that made it, same with any Super Bowl, World Series, or Stanley Cup final. Hogan/Rock II was pretty much the same match, but it was not on the Wrestlemania stage.

Of course, a lot of their matches were great, no doubt about that. I think their best match came on an SD in early 2003 - if only for the image of Benoit doing the throat slash and a bloody tear streaming down his cheek (from a hardway cut over his eye during that match) Funny aneurysm moment aside, I remember that Angle was champ at the time and I would have handed Benoit the belt right then and there for that image alone. I'd have to watch the Taker/Batista LMS match to compare because I LOVED Taker/Batista at Mania 23. I disagree on the HBK/Cena one, though - I was at WM23 and there wasn't the same energy there as there was in their match in London. I agree with the others, though.

Rock/Mankind's Last Man Standing match at St Valentine's Day Massacre '99 was the best in their feud, but isn't as renowned as the Rumble or Halftime Heat matches. I agree, much more fun match than the I Quit one which was brutal to watch at the end and had to much stalling for my liking. Their match at Survivor Series 98 is very underrated too considering they had both been in 2 matches before (I don't count the Boss Man/Duane Gill as matches)

HBK and Nash from IYH: Good Friends, Better Enemies is better than their Wrestlemania XI match. But then again, it is Wrestlemania XI.
