Even getting Davari as a manager couldn't get people to boo Angle. Not to mention cutting a promo where he said he hated the troops, wanted to make Jesus tap, and that he just plain didn't like black people. This is actually the fued that made me stop watching WWE for a few years. It was so ridiculous that they tried to make Angle the heel when all the crowd wanted to do was cheer the guy. Endless cheap ploys to try and get the crowd to boo the guy who was 1000x's more talented and respected than Cena was or ever will be. Nobody bought for a second that Cena could beat Angle in a match. Watching Angle become a racist who wanted to make Jesus tap and then go out and job to Cena every night just made me want to throw my tv out of a window.

They could've just let him be his usual self and it would've worked alot better to get people to hate him.

I remember attending a Raw taping in Halifax (Canada) in July 1997 when the Metro Centre rung out with the loudest, most glorious (at the time) "f*****" chant in history while Shawn Michaels knocked the Canadian military. I think Shawn's was the only mic still on by the end of that promo; they may have even tried to garble the chant in some way to keep it from being intelligible on-air.
The lesson to WWE: don't knock the Forces in a Forces town.

Chris Jericho vs Ric Flair, Unforgiven 2002. I remember a very poor photoshop of the belt over Jericho. I also remember a Night of Champions graphic involving Edge when he cashed in MITB on Undertaker. They photoshopped Edge over Taker, but you could still see Taker's gloved hand holding the title. The worst one that I've ever seen was in the match graphic for Undertaker vs. Brock Hell in a Cell. The week before, Brock had injured Taker's hand and it was going to be a big focus in the match. So to drive the point home, they superimposed a cast onto Taker's hand. The problem is that this is when the wrestler's moved on the match graphic screen, so they had to make the cast follow Taker's hand around. It looked TERRIBLE.

Something I noticed on monday night. The end of the raw intro with cena, they changed the colors of his attire but its still the same picture sequence.
I gotta say the transition from mcmahon leaving the arena and then the shot from outside the arena when he "blew up" sucked.
Then there was that Teddy Long one a few months back where he announced a match and in the middle they went to a shot from behind and his tone of voice changed dramatically and then back to normal.
Basically any editing on SD

Pretending that Smackdowns do take place on Friday and that Superstars/NXT/Velocity/Heat/whatever exist in undisclosed arenas were fans gather to watch a couple matches between mid-carders and watch replay footage.

You clearly missed the second part of that promo. He said that he was just saying the most ridiculous things he could think of, because he would be cheered no matter what. He never was a zealot, he was being an ass for the sake of being an ass. Which is completely in line with Angle.

Some of Angle's booking was absolutely tasteless.

I remember when they did the Shane / Kane limo segment, in between whichever of them was thrown into the car (I forget which) and when it plowed into the building its windows became un-broken.

I guess I can now add in them trying to edit out the What chants when Khali was speaking on this past Smackdown.

It's hilarious that they censored Bret Hart saying wrestling on a recent episode of TE. I've heard people saying that, but I watched that episode and didn't notice it, plus they say wrestling and wrestler all the time on Tough Enough, kinda weird.

I read that on the UK WWF/E Classics show that aired there (old 86-87 era eps of superstars), whenever there was something they couldnt show (like violence toward women) theyd cut to a crowd shot, except the crowd shots were from 1999!

I've heard people saying that, but I watched that episode and didn't notice it, plus they say wrestling and wrestler all the time on Tough Enough, kinda weird. He said something like "I always just wanted to be known as a great professional--" and then it cut away from his face to a rear view and they clearly edited his last word out. It's easy to put 2 and 2 together and realise that he said "wrestler." I really don't understand that particular edit.

He said straight after that he was simply saying the most incendiary thing he could think of because he knew the fans would cheer him whatever he said. Its one of my favourite promos ever. If only for Daivaris great one liner, "And if I could make anyone tap, it would be....Jesus" "Yeah, who'd he beat?"

Daivari is all kinds of awesome during that promo, just doing little things that really made the promo hilarious. I personally prefer the Oui Oui from Daivari after Angle says that his favorite country is France, but the Jesus line is hilarious.
