And by that, I mean editing jobs on Smackdown or on Raw rebroadcasts designed so that you'd never know X happened in the first place.
I mean like the 'E editing out Christian's pops and cheers circa 2005, and my personal favorite, the Raw episode with Dusty Rhodes hosting, where Orton RKOs Dusty and Cody looks like he's going to turn on Randy; the live crowd was chanting "CODY! CODY!" and that's what the original broadcast of Raw showed, but on the rebroadcasts of that clip, "CODY! CODY!" was removed and inexplicably replaced with a nonsensical "CENA! CENA!" as if the crowd is so comatose they can only chant for Cena.
I probably should clarify, editing jobs BESIDES Benoit and BESIDES getting the F out.

I came in to mention the Cena / Cody thing myself.
Another good one - the changed commentary for the 92 (is that the year Flair one? Think so but not sure) Rumble where they went from supporting what Sid do to villifying it.

I do always get a laugh out of how shoddy some of the photoshops they make for new champions for the matchup graphics look. Can't find an example right now, but you know what I mean.

Now Way Out 2005 - they turned the crowd down because it was a huge split between superface Cena and hometown boy Kurt Angle.
I was at the show and the crowd was DEAFENING.

So naturally, later that year in trying to restore Cena's lost popularity the dumbasses had him feud for four months with Kurt Angle.

When WWE killed the crowd noise during the Divas match at the 2010 Draft in Richmond, because the fans were crapping on the match and chanting for the recently released Mickie.

Can't find an example right now, but you know what I mean. like for this years wrestlemania, they just coloured trish's hair brown but used an old picture of her from 04-05. they had the TE picture of her on the website though

When Shawn was turning face in '95, Sid attacked him and the live crowd was 100% behind Sid. Yet when they showed the highlights the following week it was edited to have the crowd booing Sid.

I also remember a Night of Champions graphic involving Edge when he cashed in MITB on Undertaker. They photoshopped Edge over Taker, but you could still see Taker's gloved hand holding the title.

They got their use out of that picture. Was on one of the Mania shirts, some promotional images, the Night of Champions poster, and that year's SvR cover.

When Edge returned at the 2004 draft he came out to "Never gonna stop" but on the re-broadcast he came out to "You Think you know me"

Cutting out Striker and Mathews noting that Morrison vs. Bourne on ECW was a "five star match" struck me as really counter-productive and unnecessary.

Even getting Davari as a manager couldn't get people to boo Angle. That's got to say something about how much people like Angle. They put him with an annoying Persian man and yet the reactions were not blunted at all. Anytime the crowd noise is piped in, especially when you can see that the crowd is clearly sitting on its hands.
