Not exactly WWE, but very interesting.
-Rey Mysterio was an extra in Freddy vs. Jason.
Found this online; have no idea what scene he's in.

I remember back in 1992 when WCW was about to have the tournament to crown new NWA Tag Team Champs, there was a press conference they showed, and there were 2 WWF mics on the podium with a bunch of others. Someone even asked Jim Ross about it on his old radio show that was on WSB. He said something to the affect of that the WWF was considering sending a team to enter the tournament. I'm sure he was kayfabing like mad, but that doesn't change that WCW used those WWF microphones on TV. You know the ones, they had the WWF logo in yellow on them. That's pretty interesting. On a similar yet not so obscure note: The WWF Light Heavyweight title appeared on WCW television quite a few times as it was one of the 8 titles that made up the J-Crown that Ultimo Dragon held. It's NOT the same Light Heavyweight title that fans are familiar with though. It was actually never even used in WWF. It was used in Mexico for a promotion called The Universal Wrestling Association all the way back in 1981 and then later ended up in Japan. I believe WWF just gave the Mexican promotion the ability to use their name on the belt to give it more prestige. Probably as some sort of working agreement. They did a few weird things like that back in the day. When the Light Heavyweight title was brought back in 1997 I don't know if it was the same belt or not. I know that it was no longer part of the J-Crown at that point though. Also, WWE does not recognize the pre-1997 reigns.

In 1998 the WWF purchased Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas with plans to turn it into WWF themed casino and resort. Nothing ever came of it and they quietly sold the property in 2000. www.canoe.ca/SlamWrestlingArchive/aug6_hotel.htmlThey had Jake 'The Snake' train the blackjack dealers 'You want to play 21? I got 22' They were lucky not to go the route of WCW before selling that place off.

Despite holding victories over Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena and the Undertaker and being a former WWE and ECW Champion, Vince McMahon has never won a match at Wrestlemania.

Here's a few interesting things that I've either noticed, or seen mentioned online over the years.
Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar at WM 19 is the only Wrestlemania main event featuring two performers using their real names.
Roddy Piper didn't take his first clean pin until 9 years into his WWF run. And people talk about Hogan!
R-Truth taught dance moves to MC Hammer's dance troupe.

I don't know it counts, But for as long as wwe has been around they have enforced a 5 count for anyone who goes on the top rope (watch older videos and you will see the ref issue it (not that he would enforce it) this is because back ion territory days going to the top rope was illegal. I always wondered about that. Nice.

Rad thread. I really like that they put the McMahon coat of arms on the belt.
The WWF microphones at the WCW tournament is nutty.

Finlay badly lacerated his leg at a WCW house show by going through a table against Brian Knobbs.

-Hulk Hogan has never defeated Jerry Lawler in a wrestling match.
-The Royal Rumble has been held in California 4 times, which is a record.
-The original idea for Smackdown was an all women wrestling show.

I always wondered what those 3 white symbols were. Here's a few interesting things that I've either noticed, or seen mentioned online over the years. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar at WM 19 is the only Wrestlemania main event featuring two performers using their real names. WM17 - Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon WM20 - Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg WM21 - John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs John Cena (his middle name may not be Bradshaw, but that's the only difference) WM22 - Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton (Kurt and Randy) WM23 - Donald Trump vs Vince McMahon WM24 - Randy Orton vs John Cena vs Triple H (Randy and John) WM27 - The Miz vs John Cena (The Miz is short for Mizanin) and to add my own. Mick Foley has never beaten Chris Jericho in a match be it WCW, ECW or WWF/E

Apart from the last one, and 'The Miz' isn't his real name so it doesn't count really.
