Was Orlando Jordan jobbed out to Chris Benoit and eventually sacked because of his supposed homosexuality? This is a common rumour and I would like to know if there's any truth to it. If true, I think that's pretty disgusting and far worse than a few harmless John Cena jokes.

Orlando Jordan is not gay.
And no, I highly doubt that his sexuality has anything to do with it.

He's Bisexual, and it may be the cause, but he was also fairly bad.

He didn't even come out about his orientation until after he left WWE, I thought?

No. He was jobbed out because he sucked and it took them that long to realise it.

Nope. Him not being that good, and getting NO response from fans is why he was jobbed out.

He was given a US title push (OK I know the US title has been a joke since at least 1994 but come on).

as far as i remember hearing, the reason Benoit got all those speedy wins was because there was supposed to have been some outrage among some fans because he beat Chris at the Great AMerican Bash and WWE tried to make up for it with all those squashes, which were, at least to me, flat-out hilarious.

The bit where Benoit raced himself between submitting Orlando Jordan and making a cup of coffee was hilarious.

I doubt his sexuality had to with it, but OJ being absolutely awful does.

Yeah it was mostly due to him sucking really bad and not being over in the slightest.

He was crap. What did he have going for him?
He was lackey, and was the modern day Virgil for a bit but was used on Velocity most of the time.

Unless Vince hates bisexual people.
Look no further than Pat Patterson to see what an openly gay person can do.

No. He was jobbed out because he sucked and it took them that long to realise it. This. He really didn't do much. When the Cabinet broke up nobody cared about him. In fact they made him the third wheel in the Benoit/Booker T feud and tried to make him a face, but the crowd didn't react well. He jobbed a few more times till he was released.

They tried pushing him, but he didn't get over. It had nothing to do with his sexual preference.

No I think he was jobbed out because he was terrible. The guy should have never won the US title.
Don't get me wrong, he's improved since then and actually is a little entertaining in TNA now. His ridiculously stupid character kind of ruins any value that he has IMO, but it's still better than the complete bore fest that he was back in 2005.

They tried pushing him, but he didn't get over. It had nothing to do with his sexual preference. That's it, the guy took the United States Title from Cena, and fans still didn't care about him.
