I never saw Brakus wrestle. That's probably a good thing though. Don't feel bad, I missed him too. Guy must have set some sort of unofficial record for the most dark matches against Dr./Mr. X in wrestling history.

Even though I watched Raw weekly during their stints in the company, I somehow completely missed out on TL Hopper and The Goon. I never knew about them until they were profiled on Wrestlecrap. I don't think they ever appeared anywhere but Superstars, and I think The Goon only had maybe 2 matches on there. I just thought of another person I've never seen wrestle but always heard of is Tank Abbott. I've only seen bits and pieces of Russo era WCW, the only part I've seen of him in WCW is that clip of him threatening to kill that guy with a knife.

Here's a big name I should've mentioned earlier - Jesse "The Body" Ventura. I was told I didn't miss out on much.

Yeah, Jesse was a talker not a wrestler.
His matches tagging with Adonis are good, largely for Adonis being awesome.

I remember completely missing out on Techno Team 2000 and it seemed like the only Akeem match I ever saw was his WM 6 match with the Bossman. I never saw Techno Team 2000 wrestle, but one of the members of that team came and spoke at my school during gym class when I was in 8th grade. Dude was a total mark for himself. He made sure to mention about 5 times that he was close friends with "Dallas Page" and that he used to be in ECW and held the TV Title. That last part really pisses me off today, because I've spent a lot of time looking over the list of ECW TV Champions and have never seen him there. He also had a title belt with him that he let us pass around and ooh and ahh over. Had to be from some crappy indy fed (remember this was 2000 or something when indy feds were generally crappy). But I digress. I also think it's hilarious that somebody else here has no idea what Palmer Cannon looks like. I've always imagined that he looks like Cyrus, but I know I'm going to be very disappointed when I look him up in a few minutes.. That had to be Erik Watts and no, he never held the ECW TV title (or any other title of note).

Jesse Ventura-he was retired by the time I got into WWF
Pretty much the entire WWE roster of new guys since 07. Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, the Pirate guy that dosn't work there anymore(I only know of him because of this forum), heel Cody Runnels, none of the new Divas(seriously I think Melina and Beth Phoenix are the only ones I ever saw work

Erik Watts accomplished nothing during his period as an active wrestler except to be pushed to the moon by his dad whenever the opportunity presented itself and present himself as a tool.

You mean ECW wasn't an Indy Promotion? I mean, it was well known by fans, but lets face it, it didn't have the same notoriety as WWF and WCW did at the time.

It may not have had the fanbase, but I think people knew about it at least almost as much.

Here's another one - Gorilla Monsoon. Hell, most wrestlers before the 1980s for that matter.

Up until 2 weeks ago I had never seen a Stan Stasiak match before. He was the only former WWWF/WWF/WWE Champion I had never seen wrestle.

It may not have had the fanbase, but I think people knew about it at least almost as much. Yea I mean, you've got to consider that while ECW wasn't as big as WWF or WCW it was still the number 3 company during the hottest time in wrestling history. Everybody knew about ECW, most just didn't watch it because they had no way to do so. ECW was technically an indy fed in the sense that they had no major financial backer, but they were an indy fed with a PPV deal, syndication, and a ton of notoriety amongst fans. And later had a show on national TV. So yea, they were indy...but they were absolutely huge compared to the indies today. I'll put it this way: When I was in the 5th grade (1998) I had a ton of friends that were wrestling fans. We all knew about ECW, who the top stars were and what kind of violent matches they had. We even knew stuff like the fact Raven was ECW champion before coming to WCW, and that Cactus Jack and Steve Austin wrestled there before. To put it in perspective, how many 10-11 year olds do you think sit around at school talking about ROH? Or even TNA for that matter?
