I sincerely feel bad for all of those people who had to pay 50 bucks for that. I really do.

This show ended at Christian/Orton for me. Anything after that, I don't care for. I'll just pretend those last minutes didn't exist. So... Capitol Punishment was great!

Everyone gets buried by Cena until Cena/Rock at mania.

It was a solid PPV up until the last hour. Then it plunged off a cliff. Or into a bottomless pit. My perspective is off paying $0. If I paid $45 for that, a crime spree might be underway.

I don't think i've ever been more disappointed and bored with WWE as I am right now. Miz isn't champ, Classic Nexus no longer exists, HBK is gone.....I just don't see the point anymore.

I don't think Truth was given the best opportunity to shine, but he may just be a better heel on the mic than in the ring (like Miz).
This was a face happy PPV. Ziggs and ADR are the only heels to make good.
Hard to see what this PPV will be worth until we see how Truth and Christian (in particular) are used going forward. If they build off their screwjobs, then this is okay.
Anytime you are a heel and you lose because a kid helps the face win you must be doing something right. You have become the avatar of evil at that point. I hope R-Truth is not forgotten.

This was as bad as a Russo booked PPV.
Bad in a very different way but just as bad.

It ended at Swagger/Bourne, for me. Kind of a heatless main event, but I'm so proud of Swagger and Bourne for getting to finally close a show.

It has to be. That's the only way WWE would book that finish. I'm mean, congrats on one hand, I didn't expect it and we haven't seen it before. On the other hand, I didn't like it. If indeed that kid was from Make a Wish...he must not have long left if his wish was "to live to see John Cena win against R-Truth". And I don't mean that in a horrible manner, it's just the logical line of thought there. I hope I'm wrong, and it was some random fan who won some sort of radio contest or something....but damn. which makes it even sadder after Booker T said "That kid could be 30 years old, and he will still remember this memory" but still..... bad ending

Let us say goodbye to the 1st & LAST Capitol Punishment PPV.

If WWE were smart, they'd make a tag match with Cena/Orton vs. Christian/Truth. They know that MITB is a set-up show for Summerslam, so might as well save the big bullets for then.

I'm so used to Cena only selling merch that I don't even care enough to be angry when it happens anymore.
Ho hum.

Which hopefully they activate tomorrow, because after that finish, this particular feud is DOA

This was as bad as a Russo booked PPV. Bad in a very different way but just as bad. Counting the "Obama" stuff...it was actually worse, IMO.
