I don't think Truth was given the best opportunity to shine, but he may just be a better heel on the mic than in the ring (like Miz). This was a face happy PPV. Ziggs and ADR are the only heels to make good. Hard to see what this PPV will be worth until we see how Truth and Christian (in particular) are used going forward. If they build off their screwjobs, then this is okay. Anytime you are a heel and you lose because a kid helps the face win you must be doing something right. You have become the avatar of evil at that point. I hope R-Truth is not forgotten. Punk won clean and apparently has an angle coming up. Which hopefully they activate tomorrow, because after that finish, this particular feud is DOA True. I forgot about him because I chalked him up as leaving. I hope they don't kick Truth back down the undercard, but you're probably right. I love CM Punk, but Truth deserves more than one ME.

If indeed that kid was from Make a Wish...he must not have long left if his wish was "to live to see John Cena win against R-Truth". And I don't mean that in a horrible manner, it's just the logical line of thought there. I hope I'm wrong, and it was some random fan who won some sort of radio contest or something....but damn. which makes it even sadder after Booker T said "That kid could be 30 years old, and he will still remember this memory" but still..... bad ending Hadn't even thought of that. Damn. But that does make me wonder....what if there were an equally ill child who's ONLY wish was to see Truth win?

Know what the sad thing is? R-Truth might absorb the majority of the blame as to why this PPV did horrible numbers.

The FU quite clearly cost him the match. herp derp He was winning the entire match until the splash of water Which worked as a distraction for the Attitude Adjustment. Getting doused with water or soda like that will cause a shock like that. If you don't believe me, just try it.

herp derp He was winning the entire match until the splash of water And he lost after getting an FU. He didn't take any abuse in the match, though. he went from like 100 to 0 on the power bar in one move. lol.

Seeing the reaction to Cena winning on this board has become even more entertaining than the WWE itself!

No one kicks out of the FU it's like kicking out of Hogan's legdrop in the 80's. I have no problem with the ending.

I wonder what the deal was with the slow paced matches tonight. Outside of the opener, every match moved at a snail's pace.
This just wasn't a fun PPV, it just seemed like a bad episode of Raw.

Ok even if I were to buy that, how do you explain Cena taking 3 of R-Truths finishers then just shruging it off to run and throw R-Truth back in the ring and hit the AA, then acting like he just didn't get a 20 min beatdown?

It was awesome. How else should Truth have lost, other than by the little jimmys he was picking on the entire time. ......he lost to a f***ing splash of water in the face If Cena can sell a splash of water ot the face as a knockout blow, then imagine what it can do to a mere mortal such as R-Truth. I'm surprised he didn't just explode on contact.

Seeing the reaction to Cena winning on this board has become even more entertaining than the WWE itself! It had nothing to do with Cena winning. R-Truth suddenly lost after getting hit in the face with water. That is what I think most people are upset about.

I wouldn't even give you $5 for this PPV, seeing as to how the only serviceable matches were Christian/Orton and Kofi/Dolph, and even THOSE had screwy finishes. Stuff like THAT is what starts killing off your PPV gates. Just ask WCW.
