Actual politics & pro wrestling just don't mix. It's as simple as that. We should've seen this coming from jump street.

The problem isn't that R-Truth didn't win the main event. The problem is that they didn't set him up with a decent finish to continue his conspiracy theory storyline. The little jimmys he was complaining about helped put the match in Cena's favor. Thats got conspiracy all over it. And it fit his whole Cena storyline. I still don't buy it, but to each their own. Cena kicks out of Truth's finisher and then Truth has to sell a soda to the face. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent enough finish with Little Jimmy sticking it to Truth. I just think it's extremely weak compared to other finishes they could have gone with to continue the storyline. Now Truth just looks weak with Cena kicking out of his finisher while he has to sell Cena's after getting hit with a soda. That's weak sauce.

I don't see why people care about R-Truth's credibility as a main eventer getting shot because he jobbed to just on AA after the water distraction. With that god awful performance, he shouldn't sniff a PPV main event any time soon. That's a shame, since he's by far the most entertaining guy in WWE today by a long shot (other than Punk).

The "Obama" skits, whether it being the "interviews" leading up to the PPV, or the skits with the impersonator during, were nothing short of embarrasing.

Just about everything about that PPV was egregious. From "Obama" to the overall slow pace of nearly every single match to the craptastic main event with the stupid finish.

Honestly, Cena/Truth was everything I expected it to be. I knew the crowd would play into the finish after all the interactions Truth had with them over the last few weeks. Cena was never going to lose this one, and after last month's.......main event...........this was fine by me.
Rey/Punk, Orton/Christian and Ziggler/Kofi- while none of these matches were bad, or even average, I have seen much better outings from all three of these matchups in the past so ultimately they are forgettable bouts. I also now have zero interest in the Orton/Christian feud. Despite the great series of matches, I feel both guys come out of this feud looking worse than when they went into it.
The Riley/Miz and del Rio/Show matches were bad, but the right people went over.
Jackson/Barrett was also painful to watch. I just really, REALLY hope that Wade can move onto better things now.
Swagger/Bourne was ok, but did we really need to see this? I feel a combination of Rhodes/DiBiase/Sin Cara/Bryan would have not only been a better match but would have got the crowd more into the action.
As for anything 'Obama' related- well,....yeah.....whatever, we all know everyone's feelings on that.
Overall, most definatley the 'E's worst pay per view outing this year, but it wasn't atrocious due to some decent in ring action and good booking. The possibility of a Cena/Punk title feud and two Moeny in the Bank matches will keep me invested for at least the next month.
EDIT: Brain fart by me, I had forgotten about Over the Limit. Thought the Miz/Cena I Quit match had been at Extreme Rules. My bad. Over the Limit was most definately the worst pay per view so far this year.

Does anyone else think that after the Zeke match, Vince screamed in Lawler's ear to get in the ring and help try and put Jackson over? He won't last long as IC champion.

Forcing faces down our throats doesn't work quite like it used to, but Vince and co. still don't understand that. Especially when the face in question is Ahmed Johnson 2.0, who's even worse on the mic than Ahmed was, and who's moveset consists of 17 body slams, a clothesline, a torture rack, and smiling.

Mainly because I'm a Big Show fan, I thought the finish of his match was utter crap, plus, I find Del Rio just so plain. His promos are worse than Ric Flair on speed, and while his in ring ability is good, he's just so forgettable. I can't name one move he does bar the cross arm (now leg) breaker, and you can only go so far with the evil sneer. The conclusion of the match itself just said to me "you'd have got slaughtered if not for Mark Henry", and is THAT a resounding endorsement of the man's ability???
Am I alone in thinking this?

Why does no one count The Rock as a black WWE Champion? Is he not black enough or something?
