One of my favorite songs ever and I'm glad that Punk is using it once again. Literally couldn't contain my excitement when I first heard it.
Would have rather seen them save the Rey/Cena match for Summerslam, but the Punk return has me pumped again.

great to hear, but for those saying Miseria Cantare... as awesome as it was on the indies, that would suck in WWE unless the crowd starting clapping to the beat. They missed that chance at MITB.

As soon as it hit I literally shouted "NO. F***ING. WAY!"
I woke up all my housemates.
Although as much as I love the song, I kinda hope he sticks with Killswitch Engage.

I never watched him in ROH but I know the song from San Andreas and its been in my ipod ever since. I know of it's association with Punk so I marked hard when it started playing tonight.
It was also used for Stone Cold's HOF video.

For his heel run? There's nothing remotely heelish about that song. And yet I bet it still worked. I exploit you, still you love me. Is rather heelish.

Is rather heelish. the person basically puts himsel in the same level of all big leader os history, yeh, its quite heelish. But fitting for the angle. The lyrics is basically the description of the fans-CM Punk relation.

I markeded all up in my pantaloons. I was waiting all night for Punk to show up and face off WWE Title vs. WWE Title. Had NO idea it would involve Cult though. Man... as someone who didn't really follow Summer of Punk I, but heard of its greatness, it's thus far been an amazing opportunity to see this version of it.

In my heart, I would've rathered Miseria Cantare, but dammit I'll take it. What's with the love for that song? Aside from the intro, it's terrible... Good to hear Cult of Personality, though.

Unbelievable. They're really striving to pull out ALL the stops on this angle, aren't they?
