I marked so huge as soon as I heard the opening riff. I wish they'd had him come out to this at Money in the Bank.

In my heart, I would've rathered Miseria Cantare, but dammit I'll take it. What's with the love for that song? Aside from the intro, it's terrible... Good to hear Cult of Personality, though. I would've marked harder if they played the intro and THEN it kicked in to Cult of Personality. But this, I'll take.

That is the same song they used for Austin's Hall of Fame promo... Man WWE has put Punk on a rocket to the moon.

The comments for "Cult of Personality" are off the charts on YouTube right now.

Everything about that worked. I didn't watch Punk in the indies, so I didn't know of the song's association with him... my first thought was Stone Cold. But as it went on and no one came out, and Cena got ever more paranoid, and then Punk walks out calm and self-assured, title belt around his waist, coming to remind them of what they'd rather forget... oh my. Oh my goodness. You can bury it, you can shut about it, you can pretend it didn't happen, but he's not going to let you move on with your shiny, new, FAKE title. He's the real champion, the champion in exile, the champion in protest, the only one who deserves to wear the title you say you've won. You are never going to be anything until you defeat him.

I knew it was Punk's theme in ROH but didn't expect Punk to be using it. When I heard it tonight with that static intro I was expecting the Kings of Wrestling tbh Either them and/or Colt & Punk.. fantasy booking eh?

I just listened to Miseria Cantare. It's s***. The intro, beat, and chanting is awesome, but the actual verses, not so much.

Unbelievable. They're really striving to pull out ALL the stops on this angle, aren't they? I'm loving it. Even though I expect things to return to the status quo at some point, this angle has made me a proud mark again.

It's insane how much this theme fits Punk.

Anyone notice the JFK footage in CM Punk's tron? That was a nice touch as it fits with the video for Cult of Personality.

So I'm guessing part of Punk's new contract was "I want to come out to Cult of Personality". That was insanely cool. I loved that song on the Summer of Punk but with the huge WWE production... it makes it that much more insanely awesome.

I had no idea who was coming out, cause I didn't see Summer of Punk I. I suck, don't I?
