I don't think Vince ever met his grandfather Jess McMahon either.

If there's one person who absolutley needs a movie made about thier life, it's Vince McMahon. Honestly one of the most fascinating men ever.

That interview that from Playboy is online and the beginning said he would get into street fights. Vince learned to fight dirty! so you could say that Vince *puts on shades* is a Street Fighter.

I've always read how Vince had a thing against southern wrestlers also. *If* true, maybe his upbringing had something to do with it. . And yet Vince would (perhaps unconsciously) pronounce wrestling as "rassling"- he couldn't completely hid his Southern roots.

Edit: I've always known the story of Vince being abandoned by his father, which I always find ironic when old timers always praise his father as an honest and noble man while looking down on Vince like some corporate blood-hungry shark. Ah, the good old days...where a man could abandon his wife and kids, or even physically abuse them, and still be considered a "good, classy guy" if he was successful in business. I'm sure his friends just thought his wife deserved it. We've actually come along way in that area.

There was other abuse, as well. Read the interview.
The guy had kind of a crappy childhood, but - right, wrong, or indifferent - you have to hand it to him for becoming such a success.

I've always read how Vince had a thing against southern wrestlers also. First I've ever heard of it. And what evidence we have from observation points to the contrary.

Vince McMahon is legitimately one of my favourite people in the world. The man is magnificent.

Could also explain why he gives jobs to family ie Shane, Stephanie and Triple H (corporate wise). I think in the end, he wants to give to his family what Vince Sr didn't really give to him.

I would LOVE a chance to sit down with Vince for a week and interview him to make a movie about his life. It would seriously be the best biopic ever.

I now want CM Punk to start a promo calling him out with "Hey, Lupton!" He could probably get away with it if he calls him a "lepton" but says it like lupton. Then he'd essentially be calling him small.

When I get into wrestling I think I'll make my ring name Vinny Lupton and be announced from "The Trailer Park". I'm kinda surprised Eric never had a trailer-park loser named Lupton as a jobber back in the Monday Night Wars.

crazy that i never heard this mentioned and its a pretty asshole move on his fathers part to abandon his son and let him and his mother rot away in poverty Vince Sr. was pretty much just a carny, whether or not he should be called an asshole, I'll leave to everyone else. His business involved him being on the road with his promotion.
