seems to me they are and they're jobbing him out to everyone for whatever reason.
he loses all those MITB matches....beats del rio monday then loses to the miz who is still doing the injury angle......
he's been held back so long and they pull the trigger on countless other guys only to have it backfire

Yeah,he seems to be living in mid card land.
Some people say Kofi lacks mic skills and is too "cheesy".During the Orton feud they actually allowed him to be more "edgy"(destroying Orton's car) and show some aggression.I can't remember which PPV but I remember during their feud he got interviewed backstage and he sounded decent.
He's not the biggest guy around but neither is Daniel Bryan(MITB winner) and Mysterio(Two time World Champion).
He was more over last year on Smackdown and in 2009.He still can get a reaction though.

I'd be fine with Kofi having a larger role. Seems like A-Ry is next in line to move up the card though.

Give him a shot at being a heel, I think as a face he has run his course.

Since my definition of "another Punk situation" would mean pushing a guy as a prominent upper-midcarder with the potential to work in main events from day one and continuously involved him in relatively high-profile feuds throughout his WWE tenure, then I'd say no, the booking of Kofi Kingston is not "another punk situation".

I LOVE Kofi, but honestly I can't ever really see him cracking world title status. I was a huge RVD mark from 01-04 and I thought of him the same way too. Not everyone can be world champion, theres nothing wrong with being a reliable midcarder.

Not everyone can be world champion, theres nothing wrong with being a reliable midcarder. I agree. But the problem is there's little value being a midcarder any more. The midcard belts have virtually no prestige left and get traded around and forgotten about.

Maybe if he got some charisma he'd be in a better position miz has no charisma, neither does sheamus, khali, edge and batista. see that pattern?

...did you seriously just try to claim that Edge doesn't have charisma?

Its not nearly the same. They have NO RUSH whatsoever with Kofi. Just keep him over in the midcard for now. Get him and Ziggler away from each other. Theyre killing each others momentum by facing off every week.

Maybe if he got some charisma he'd be in a better position Yeah, I honestly don't think Kofi has the "it" factor it takes to be a main event star.

...did you seriously just try to claim that Edge doesn't have charisma? his whole heel career was built on cheap pops and making fun of people.....sounds like the miz.
