Let's think of the worst case (no pun intended) scenario, since that seems to be the easiest way to predict WWE these days. Lesse.... Christian wins SmackDown's Money in the Bank, cashes in on Orton later in the show and loses. Meanwhile Morrison wins Raw's and cashes in for a match at SummerSlam against Cena, which he loses.

Sorry to be that guy OP, but MITB is in Rosemont, Illinois. Not KC (otherwise I'd be going haha).

How many people got in the MITB matches last year? Looking foward to Smackdown putting in Bryan/Cara/Cody etc. Eight in both matches last year. I'll guess Bryan/DiBiase/Rhodes/Cara/Henry/Kane/Barrett/Zeke for Smackdown. Miz/Rey/Riley/Ziggler/Kingston/Del Rio/Show and Punk or Truth depending on who faces Cena in the main event.

You know what I think would be an interesting MITB twist? Someone wins the briefcase, but several weeks later states that they sold it to someone someone on the roster, but either can't or won't say whom.
Thus you have some genuine intrigue as every potential title match gets a lot trickier, and you have various people questioning who precisely bought it. It would make for a nice surprise when it finally was cashed in at least.

Anyway, my early picks to win the briefcases this year are Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes.

This could be pretty big for Sin Cara.

I'm expecting the WHC match on this one to be Orton vs. Khali, simply because Khali's the most notable guy on the Smackdown roster who legitimately can't do anything in a ladder match.

Especially if one week, Cena is out, Punk's music hits and he comes out smiling, then gets on the mic and says "It's not me" and leaves. Or if the holder also happened to be the #1 contender, loses the title match, and attacks the champ from behind and beats him down. He then proceeds to instantly cash it in.

I could also see Alberto Del Rio or Ted DiBiase (depending on what brand this takes place) becoming a target due to their wealth even though there is no proof they are the mystery buyer.

The real potential is in the variation of who would potentially use it. Is it a guy low on the card, desperate to shoot ahead to the top? A number one contender wanting to have a second chance if they lose? An injured superstar? A champion wanting an insurance policy if they do lose? Someone like Booker T, wanting to get one more world championship without having to work for it? Lots of ways to go.

I'm hoping for Cody to win the SD case, and I think theres a good chance of that happening, but it's most likely just wishful thinking to want Drew to win the Raw case :[
