Bad writing in wrestling has me supporting the heel without reservation. The build towards Randy Orton vs Christian at Money in the Bank is terrible writing.

Orton vs Christian
Orton retains titles
Punk vs Cena
Punk beats Cena only after the ref is knocked out and Cena + the rest of New Nexus give Cena multiple chair shots and they all perform their finishers on him .
Sometime after New Nexus is banned from ringside a tired Punk drops belt to MITB winner Miz. After Miz raises the belt in triumph Riley rushes to ringside and beatdowns Miz thoroughly setting up a title match at Summer Slam.
Miz wins Raw MITB cashes in and becomes 2 time champ after
Sheamus wins Smackdown MITB cashes in sometime in Sept-Oct
Kingston beats Ziggler for the Us Title to even there matches to 40 wins each head to head in the last year.
Super Kelly Kelly squashes Beth Phoenix in 3 minutes
Tag Titles 1 of the Usos pins Heath Slater of Gabriel/Slater in a triple threat match which also involves Santino and Kozlov who are tag champs again by the time MITB roles around.
Ezekial Jackson will be on the card to defend his title against Jinder Mahal but it will be switched to a Dark Lumberjack match the day before. The Lumberjacks will consist of 6 or so random midcarders,10 Superstar regulars and 3-4 guys everyone assumes were release a while ago. The Lumberjack match willl then become a 20 man over the top battle royale because hold up playas the Lumberjacks start brawling for some reason. Chris Masters win Dark Battle Royale after eliminating Drew McIntyre.

I say re-use Money by IFD for the theme.

Wow, that Raw line-up sucks. SmackDown's will probably be awesome but damn, Bourne and Kofi are the only guys who remotely fit and they sure as hell aren't winning.
I'm going to guess it goes to Riley, but that he winds up losing it to somebody.

Well, they won, but while I love both guys admittedly neither of them actually did anything in the ones they won.

Interestingly enough, Miz and Swagger's placement in these matches makes this the first MITB match to have more than one former winner in it. Thinking about it, SD has just enough guys to fill out the match, but not any more: Kane/Barrett/Zeke/DiBiase/Bryan/Rhodes/Sin Cara basically make up the mid-card on SD, and I guess Sheamus to fill it out. I can't see Yoshi, Regal, Mahal, Khali, Baretta, Kidd, Baretta, Usos, Gabirel, or Slater in there honestly.

That's a very respectable MITB lineup for RAW, I think.

Bad writing in wrestling has me supporting the heel without reservation. The build towards Randy Orton vs Christian at Money in the Bank is terrible writing. I completely agree. It has been absolutely atrocious. The clincher was that Christian had his foot under the rope and GM Teddy Long, The ref and the announcers are acting like Christian is just being a sore loser and blew his opportunity. And then Christian wins a rematch in a tag match and didn't even get the pin? Whahahahahahat?!?!?

Eh, speaking for myself, there's really no one in the RAW MitB who I'd be excited to see win.
Swagger and Bourne are too far down the card to be credible winners (though Evan's bound to some great spots in the match itself), Rey doesn't need it, and Miz/R-Truth/del Rio have all been hovering around as challengers for Cena since the draft; none of them need it to feud over the WWE title, and a win for any of them guarantees another of those horrifically tiresome title reigns where the new champion is continually marginalized and used as a punching bag for the same old guys at the top, then shunted back down the card a few months later when the bookers are baffled that being booked like this didn't get the new guy over.
The two midcard faces, Kofi and Riley, are the most interesting prospects, though I see either winning as a long shot. Assuming the lineup isn't altered, I see del Rio winning this.

Kinda funny how most of us thought Morrison was a shoo-in for winner of this MITB I feel like he would have based on posts like the ones above - I can't really see any one of those people winning.

Although I do like the lineup of participants for the Raw MITB the more I think about it I would have prefered
Raw Money in the Bank Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Rey Mysterio vs. R-Truth vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne
In either a Cage Match/Street Fight The Miz vs Alex Riley
Ideally that would have been better booking IMO as you get to have a rubber match between Miz and Riley to potentially finish the feud, plus it could have been promoted as a third main event with the other two world title matches. And you still get more interesting choices to win for the Raw MITB.
The MITB match for Raw is going to be good, but people seem to be complaining about the star power in it (and how no names stand out to them). Either way they will probably create (or take a step towards) making one or two new main eventers like they did last year with Miz. Considering the guys involved we have more chance of getting as new push for a different main eventer than someone who is already in the main event scene (Miz, Rey).

Surprised that Kofi isn't up against Dolph again. Wonder who'll take his place in an IC title match, if they have one? Might be wishful thinking to say Drew, probably more likely they'll have Cena win it just because.
