Now that we know Smackdown's MitB participants... {Spoiler}I'm pulling for Cody on this one. He has a built-in angle with Orton and he's already gained some credibility by feuding with Mysterio earlier this year; a win here is just what he needs to establish himself as a potential challenger for the WHC.
Sheamus doesn't need the briefcase. He's already hovering around the main event scene, and a guy with his look should be a straight-up monster instead of a sneaky opportunist, even though the bookers seem startlingly incapable of understanding this.

{Spoiler}The only ones I can see winning MitB out of that bunch are Sheamus, Rhodes and Barrett. That also depends on if WWE finally sees Cody as ready to carry the title. Sin Cara won't win due to his constant mistakes. If he hadn't been making so many errors, I could see him winning. Also, it makes me wonder if the Corre "disbanding" was just a ruse that could affect this match.

{Spoiler}I reckon Cody should take it. As already established there is the Randy connection, but I also posted fantasy booking wherein Cody somehow gets a masked Kane as his personal bodyguard and lackey. If you had Cody hiding behind Kane armed with MITB it'd have every active wrestler on their toes. ..and that's all I have to say about pudding.

After the finish to Smackdown! last night I wouldn't be surprised if the Smackdown! MITB Match gets changed and Sheamus worms his way into a title match at MITB leaving Christian in the MITB ladder match.

Ok. One theory. {Spoiler}Teddy Long sides with Sheamus, changes up the Money in the Bank main event to Orton (c) vs. Sheamus. Christian is the surprise entrant in the MITB match to replace Sheamus, wins the briefcase. Sheamus destroys Orton, but still loses with a surprise RKO. As Orton is celebrating, Christian's music hits and he cashes in on the weakend Orton, leaving MITB as the chamption. Of course, now I see someone already posted this theory.

I'd prefer Sheamus vs. Orton, solely for Christian's current storyline to progress and have more fuel for the fire. If he faces Orton one on one again (though I think the match will be changed to a triple threat), he has to win. Losing will do him no favors.

Punk wins, Cena in pain climbs back into the ring and says that it was the match of the year he was hoping for and he says that although he is fired he still intends to be there for the business and company that he loves, and that he will see Rock at Wrestlemania. MITB holder comes out to cash in on Punk. Punk defeats the MITB holder (lets say Punk vs Evan cause they have good chemistry, finishing spot would be Punk catching Evan on his shoulders from a SSP into a GTS) putting him over strong. Vince realises he is going to lose a huge potential star if he lets him go and he goes down to apologise to Punk for suspending him. Vince asks Punk for a handshake which Punk acccepts to the dismay of his hometown crowd (ala x7), both laughing together. When Vince isnt looking Punk becomes sirious. Vince realises this and tries to walk away only for Punk to pull him back in and give him a deadly GTS. The roster run to the ring (as well as some security through the crowd) to help Vince and to get Punk for turning his back on the company. Punk instead sprints out of the arena while this is happening with the title. The roster check on an unconcious Mcmahon as the Chicago crowd is going crazy. PPV goes off the air. I can dream right

I'm slimed that it looks like we are going to get Orton VS Christian again, Somebody has to make a mock poster: WWE presents "I Don't know but we want a new challenger for Randy Orton's world title": Watch Randy Orton take on Christian again for your hard earned money, every month on Pay Per View, Call your local Cable or satellite provider to order.

I personally think Sheamus should be added to SD's main event to make it a triple threat match and TL can say he gave the spot to a mystery opponent

{Spoiler}Incredibly, an maybe it's just me, but I think Raw's MITB won't be won by any of those listed. I think the most likely scenario is R-Truth is found KOed backstage, the GM demands that his assailant take his place, cue John Morrison's music, he fights in the match and wins the briefcase.
Next night on Raw, Punk comes out with the title, taunts the crowd an Cena, goes to leave, Cena ambushes him, security removes Cena, Morrison rushes down, cashes in MITB, one Moonlight Drive and one Starship Pain later, and you have a new champion. Morrison can then continue the feud with R-Truth. Of course, that's just what I think will happen.
As for SD, it'll probably be either Barrett or Bryan.

How long has it been since Mark Henry had a singles ppv match? Was it during his ECW title reign?
