does it really matter either way? Not really, I'm just surprised that people think it was a shoot when it's pretty danged obvious that it's not.

I don't buy this story. At all. WWE is a professional organization. There's no way they would let him say 'whatever he wanted' without prior approval. I am saying that this whole story has been fabricated. Agreed. There is approximately a 0% chance this was a shoot.

Guys, they had a promo cut out of CM Punk's shoot last night on NXT. The entire thing. It was NOT a shoot. The fact that we're still discussing whether or not it is, though, is a testament to HOW delicious it really was.

CM Punk has always had more leniency given to him. He's a great talker. So I buy that it wasn't scripted. But oh hell yea did they know what he was going to say.

Ok Smarks on this board. You're so smart for being the only people to know it is a work. Stop with the pissing contest.

just noticed this on the twitter thread. if it needs to be deleted, then delete it. but I felt it was of more importance than just getting lost in the regular twitter thread

Careful where you 'shoot'. You may get shot back.

Well, look at it this way; could be the start of a hella hot angle! 'Cept Punk's leaving and Rocky won't be back until another seven years, so...

It's not like Rocky is lying.
Though I do feel sorry for Rocky, because I'm sure Punk unknowingly has an army of Twitter nerds that will bombard his account with all sorts of hate.

And The Rock is in the next GI Joe movie, a franchise that Punk loves and a movie adaption that he absolutely hates. Great potential stuff

Punk loves the business and still has something to offer. Maybe he could be the next Rock or Austin. Thanks Rock for all those 'entertaining' years, but you don't care about wrestling anymore and you're just back for a paycheck.
You might be "drawing" and this might be match of the decade for some people, but a few of the rest of us, we really don't care that you're back.

It will make a lot of money, but he is still an asskisser, and when CM Punk leaves, we arent gonna read a bunch of interviews by "Call me Phil" Brooks.

Problem is, Rocky, you didn't refute anything that Punk claimed about you.
