To be fair, he can hardly be blamed for that line of thought.

How the hell was Man Melina supposed to work? Was a notably small cruiserweight going to play her body double after the big reveal? Ever see Naked Gun 33 1/3?

Correct me if I'm wrong- but wasn't Heidenreich the leftover part of that defrosted nazi gimmick? Yup. Proving that even the ideas that Vince hates always has a little bit of life in his mind. I knew about the Unfrozen Nazi gimmick, but I did not know about the reaction to it. Wow.

Didn't Russo pitch an idea where Rock announced he was gay?

Kinda like the Too Much gay wedding, which got put on the backburner for a few years, until Billy and Chuck. Though I don't know if Vince hated that, I have a feeling he loved it.

Actually Paul and Katie Burchill were originally supposed to be part of an incest angle, but thankfully the PG rating happened and it was scrapped (i heard the gimmick did make it to house shows before they debuted on tv though).

I'm confused over how these incest angles were supposed to play out. So Vince declares he's Steph's baby's daddy and...ratings?

I feel like this idea would have done some serious damage to the WWE. It's one thing to have a TV series with an incest storyline, it's another thing all together to have an owner of a million dollar company actually making out with his actual daughter on TV.

Sometimes I hear that a really horrible idea was 'road tested' in a house show (like the thing with Harlem Heat, or this), and it just makes me feel badly for the people who paid to go to that houseshow... I mean, especially if they brought kids and have to explain to them 1) what they saw and 2) how (presuming they still watch on TV later) it is never referred to or mentioned again- not just in a 'that match didn't count' way, but in a "That awful thing you saw? Just experimenting." way.

A lot of people probably would have stopped watching at that point if that idiotic angle would have been green-lit. I am not the biggest Stephanie McMahon supporter, in fact I think she is an stubborn and out-of-touch person just like her daddy. That being said, I respect Stephanie for putting her foot down on that ridicilous idea, McMahon should have felt like shit suggesting that to his own daughter.

I remember Katie Lea and Paul Burchill debuting on RAW and them hinting at them having some kind of weird relationship. It was pretty subtle though and then they dropped it afterwards.

I remember reading on the web in the late 90's rumors of them adding a sister to the Undertaker/Kane angle named Scarlett. No word on who would've been Scarlett, but considering the name and time period, I wouldn't be surprised if this might've been the original idea for Lita.

Correct me if I'm wrong- but wasn't Heidenreich the leftover part of that defrosted nazi gimmick? Yes, he was the person that was chosen to play the character and was managed by Heyman... and had a march style entrance theme and I think that's the extent of what was left over I also heard Kenzo Suzuki was suppose to be a Japanese WWII solider and he and Heidenreich were suppose to be a tag team. Speaking of which, saw this on PWI I dunno. If a guy wins the Women's title, all data gets erased. It's pretty risky. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruno_Lauer

WTF is Vince's obsession with doing incest angles?
1st his idea with Stephanie.
Later, his idea to do an incest Angle with Paul and Katie Lea. Even though, they're not really siblings it's been well established that they're brother and sister on TV.
I know pro wrestling is looked at as "Soap Operas for Males", but that's just effing creepy!

It's a funny extreme to think that one week you're planning an incest angle and then the next week you're PG.
