the stuff about Andy was spot on. They should've really swerved us and gave the contract to Martin, because he was the best one dammit

He said it himself... he doesn't need it. He obviously wants the fame, but doesn't want to stick at any one thing.

"they loved my personality but they said I was only average in the ring"
And yet Ariane was considered good enough? :/ :/ :/
Still, Jeremiah does come across as a bit of a douche here.

He knocks everybody for being cookie-cutter but then says he doesn't need a character, he'll just be himself.

The fact that I had to google this goon just to figure out who he WAS on Tough Enough probably means he's probably not that impressive, hence, why he didn't get signed.

Here's the long version, which makes himself look like more of an ass where he compares himself to certain people:

He seems to have left out the part were they laughed in his face for ten minutes before asking "No, seriously, what do you want of the business"

Jesus, the full article really makes him sound like a turbo douche. Between comparing himself to The Rock, Austin and CM Punk, saying he wanted to give WWE a try just for the money, claiming he intimidated Dusty Rhodes and threatening to beat Bill DeMott's ass, I'm gonna say he doesn't ever have a shot at WWE just for nuking his bridge on the way out.

Damn, that sucks. I really liked him. But if he wants to continue wrestling, going out and working in other promotions can't do any harm. Growing up learning wrestling in just FCW isn't exactly the best option. And maybe he'll humble up a bit. I'm not so sure about that. From what I heard, when guys go to FCW after wrestling in the indies for years they try to unteach them just about everything they learned in the indies. I've heard that is the only reason Peter Orlov isn't getting brought up. He stands out and is different and wrestles a lucha libre fast style and I guess they don't like that. I can't blame Jeremiah Riggs for going off like that. The guy trained for only two months and picked it up that fast and they don't even want to give him a shot? What in the hell are they thinking? Do they know they have guys like Titus O Neil and Brodus Clay who have been wrestling for over two years and still can't do very well in the ring?

Well, this is disappointing to read. He was my favorite of the Tough Enough cast from day one, and was glad me made it as far as he did.

"What made Steve Austin, The Rock, and CM Punk such big superstars? They speak their mind and buck the system. I know this may hurt my chances of ever making it in the WWE but what are they gonna do? Fire me? They aren’t ready for someone like me."
Does he really not get that Austin, Rock, and Punk were playing characters?

Do they know they have guys like Titus O Neil and Brodus Clay who have been wrestling for over two years and still can't do very well in the ring? Jeremiah's overrating his own performance. He picked up on some basics quickly, but he also fudged up a lot of stuff too. Brodus and Titus are MUCH better in the ring right now than they were in the past, because they were properly trained. Peter Orlov hasn't gotten called up yet because there hasn't been another NXT season of new contestants since he got situated in FCW as a regular. They don't want to give him a shot because he's an asshole like Daniel Puder. He compares himself to CM Punk, John Cena, and The Miz in this interview and talks about how he almost made Dusty Rhodes piss his pants. It doesn't matter if the world thinks you're great if you're a dick, just ask Mr. Kennedy. There are PLENTY of indie guys who are better than Jeremiah in the ring and in character who haven't gotten a shot yet that would probably be more respectful than Jeremiah AND who would actually care about wrestling and the business instead of just making money.

This guy says he doesn't need a gimmick or character, yet he shaves his head and goes by the name Jeremiah Riggs?

@wwerollins Dude was about 10 words from an ass kicking getting hung from the rafters when he was here. RT @mdoggmattcross wow wow wow, no comment. Here's a must read for ya. t.co/4SLTjvkFixed for my personal amusement. Also, comparing himself to Punk and Austin? Never mind the fact that "speaking their mind" is in their character, never mind the fact that Punk has over ten years in the business, and Austin's been in the biz since the 80s. Hey, Big Rig, here's a thought: go back to VH1.

To be fair TE was his fourth reality show, I'm sure he understands the "me at 11" character and almost certainly playing a character here too. He has to because "WWE washout" isn't going to get him his next fix.

him saying that he was doing cm punk stuff before punk made it cool just shows how out of touch with wrestling he really is.
