I didn't see the match, but I was definitely interested. I found it on youtube, will watch it now, and then make a comment.
They shouldn't take him back. He didn't show up in shape, I was actually thinking the Braden Walker chants were going to be a lot louder and interesting, but they weren't. Matt Hardy and Beer Money always deliever the goods, but it seemed like a jobber type match to me if you get me.
You can even tell, like, Storm doesn't have the best body due to living his gimmick it seems, but he's in much better shape then Chris Harris, and unless Harris gets back on the treadmill and goes back to the time when he had that Texas Death Match with Storm, he's of no use to the company, especially when they have a large roster as it is.

it was really worth bringing him in *rolls eyes* It totally was, I think. The match he and Hardy had against Beer Money told an amazing story, one that I'm glad to have seen. Great bit of closure to the whole Americas Most Wanted situation, whether it was intentional or not. You and I have very different definitions of the word 'amazing', sir.

.....There's always the Lance Storm argument of him showing up to the biggest stage of them all in the worst shape of his life, yet the legend of Braden Walker has to be killing him...... Jeez, eat the entire inventory of one Burger King outlet before signing with the E and they never let you forget it.

Considering he didn't show up at either tapings TNA did, I think it's not a hard bet to make.
Also, considering they made the joke with Storm before the match, you'd think that would be the response you expect.....

As a Whovian (Dr. Who fan, though mostly of the classic series), I find this a fittingly sad graphic.

I remember back in the day when Chris Harris was thought to be the breakout star of America's Most Wanted. By everyone; backstage folk, dirtsheets, internet folk.
...Yeah.
AMW was a great team, but I love Beer Money way more.

Shame, because the storyline potential for Storm turning on Roode and rejoining Harris, thus reuniting a great tag team of TNA history and setting Roode off on a singles push, was brilliant.
The only thing that ruined it was Harris' condition.

You know if this is true and TNA gave him advance notice to get in shape...
What the hell Chris? The chants would die, but by you not getting in shape you blew your second opportunity.

I'm actually saddened by this.
I also blame Roode's joke in the promo at the PPV. If people had forgotten about Braden Walker before, it all came rushing back afterward.

Knock Knock Who's there? BRA-DEN WALK-ER! Did they actually chant that? If so, I MUST SEE It wasn't very loud, didn't last long, and Harris didn't acknowledge it. I was thinking it would have been awesome too, but it was disappointing.

So.... I hear Chris Harris and Matt Hardy were in a same company before. They ate all the catering and they had to shut down that company. Well technically they didn't shut down the WHOLE company. Just one brand. And it did take a few years for their full effect to be felt. But yeah, I think the fall of the ECW brand can be solely attributed to their eating habits. So TNA had three major returns on or around the Sacrifice PPV (Harris, Chyna and Foley), and now all three of them are gone, never expected to be seen in TNA again. That's some great foresight there guys. You can't even call this bad luck since I think everybody in the universe not in charge of TNA pretty much saw all this coming a mile away. It's like the Great Weaver of Destiny is throwing TNA's mistakes in their faces to teach them lessons and they never learn. It was a mistake to try bringing MEM back and bang Nash and Booker leaves them in the dust. It was a mistake making a drug addict that's alway been unreliable the biggest guy in your company, bang he shows up on drug during a big match. They bring these three people to get cheap pop like it was WCW 1997 and bang the three screw up. The very fact that Harris do not lose weight after all this time is a testament that this guy doesn't want it enough. Hell he did not even make the effort to get in shape when he went to the biggest stage of all, in the WWE. Why did TNA think he would suddenly lose weight and be reliable? Also you don't bring somebody back from obscurity and expect him to be ready to go. Guys have more of a chance to get in shape and get a tight regiment when being part of a promotion than when they are away from it. Why do people think most wrestlers die when they are away from the action? Away from the spotlight? Because when they are in a solid promotion, there are 25 guys getting in shape, looking out to stay healthy and staying ready to be great at the next show. (Jeff Hardy being the exeption of course).
