Why does TNA continue to even have a women's division when they clearly do not value it at all ( except when Mickie James is in the picture)
I mean the Velvet vs Sarita carear match that was hyped pretty well and built up decently was barely if not a little lass than two minutes and had plenty of run ins.
While the Ko's tag team title match tonight was like 4 minutes and again had tons of run ins. Which is disapointing as the four women in the match could have had a really good match if given decent time.
So If TNA is not going to give their KO's a decent amount of time to wrestle, why even bother having a divsion. The short matches only make their talent look really bad as they are forced to rush through their matches.
It's sad as I naively thought things were looking up at the the end of 2010 start of 2011 but things have really started to go bad with the Ko's recently.
Truth is I doubt TNA will have a good women's division for as long as Bischoff is there.

Why does TNA have a women's division? Why does WWE have a women's division? Why does WWE have a tag division? Why does TNA have a tag team women's division?
We may never know.

They'd do well to have a SINGLES division for the women.....but I've said again and again....there simply isn't the roster depth to support a Women's Tag division....especially when 90% of the past champions are permutations and offshoots of the same faction.

The division was much better than the WWE before Bischoff came in and try to copy WWE by turning into TBP division, and now, with the time KO gets, it is no different than the WWE Diva division.

It's a combination of stupidity (Sara Del Rey not beautiful enough or whatever crap I heard), not paying the KOs what they deserved for their rating's success (Gail, Kong, ODB, Taylor Wilde), and the new regime f***ing things up even worse by making the KOs so insignificant

Honestly you could make a good division out of the talent you hav enow especially if you got rid of the tag belts.
It's just that no one gets time for their matches except Mickei and those that wrestle her so it makes the other girls pretty pointless.

Here's an astounding stat: Ever since they won the titles back in January, aside from house shows Love and Winter had never even defended the belts until this pay per view currently taking place.
Honestly, that's just pathetic. If you're going to make the belts such an after thought like that then why even bother having them around?

But, like others have said, unlike when they started the tag division, they simply don't have enough KO's to have a good division & probably should've gotten rid of them after Wilde & Hamada's reign. |

He and Kevin Dunn (in particular) were always proponents of the "belts are props" school of thought in the WWF. I'm assuming his line of thinking hasn't changed much, judging from ALL the titles lately. Though that being said, you are right; Bischoff loved doing the "hot potato" thing a LOT too, back in WCW. *shrugs* |

You mean the belt that EVERYONE here would be tossed on Mickie as soon as she got a shot, the same belt that helped Madison develop a personality separate from the BP beginnings she had, and the same belt that had significant time and build toward it? Yeah, I call Bull on it being worthless. |

I don't think the KO title is the worthless one.....It's the Tag Title that's solely supported by the champions and whomever they're feuding with currently. A Division consisting of 10 people total, 2 out with injury, cannot support a Tag Division.
