These damn critics. How dare they object to such a fine example of the cinematic craft?!? What's next, are you going to tell me these guys hate Seltzer and Friedberg movies too! Hey, hey, HEY! You can't review Meet The Spartans, and then review Bucky Larson.

Even if I heard it was good I'd be hesitant to support that horrible, horrible commercial.

Why he can't he just say, "Look, I'm at the point in my career where I can't turn down a starring role in a film. We tried our best to make it funny, it just didn't work."

Let's make it apples to apples with other comedies, Mr. Swardson...
Can you review Airplane! and then review Bucky Larson? Can you review Ghostbusters and then review Bucky Larson? Can you review Blazing Saddles and then review Bucky Larson? Can you review Animal House and then review Bucky Larson?

I never did like Nick Swardson. Only film he was somewhat amusing in was "Click" and that was because he was so random, weird, and creepy that I was like "Wow, watching Sandler's character sleep isn't creepy at all." heh

I still say John Waters or David Lynch should have directed "Bucky Larson"...and Nick Swardson and Happy Madison should have had nothing to do with it.
Ah well....it didn't happen and the movie failed. Suck it, Swardson.

He was (at least partially) responsible for how awful it was.

You know what.....I haven't. I don't honestly plan to either. I don't need to actually EAT a shit Sandwich to know It's horrible. Especially if people who were paid, and exist ONLY to promote the aforementioned sandwich made me want it even less than the initial prospect did.
The sad thing is.....the movie has what could be considered an interesting premise. I think it would have been better served if (A) The Cast were engaging and competent (A Good cast can elevate a poor script). (B) If the Commercials had made it look appealing (The aforementioned poor marketing) and (C) It had been subtle (Given it was Happy Madison, it would be like asking a chipmunk to perform Quantum Physics)
