Alright, maybe I went a bit overboard with the MLP comparison, but all I was trying to say is that it was a pretty big deal at the time. The comparison is rather apt in terms of how both art styles are not hard to emulate and customize, but this thread has finely demonstrated how far apart they are in acceptance and popularity. Now, as far as other Attitude Era signs go, you'd be hard press to get through a show without "I'd rather be in ____". Their(MLP@SP)not the same thing and you know it. Moving along I miss the random signs,Like one time I remember seeing a sign on raw that read "Salami".

I had forgotten how big South Park was back then before I read this thread. I was like 10 or 11 at the time but I loved SP. I would watch it with my folks every Wednesday (awesome parents they were). I think it's interesting how the stuff that kids liked back then were massively popular with adults too, but these days adults and kids tend to have completely different tastes.

Didnt Jericho make an "i killed kenny" reference once during his during his heel run in wcw? He also said it once after laying out Ken Shamrock. Yes, for those who don't remember, these two were supposed to feud.

90% of the signs in that era consisted of one of the following: A South Park design, a 3:16 phrase, an elaborate drawing of Stone Cold or The Rock, an angelfire/geocities web site, or the hatchet man.
The late 90's are interesting to me in that a lot of the mainstream media had the same "attitude" throughout.
