Brie's tweet mirrors the same kinda thing Punk did. Name drop fired worker. Name drop indy worker. I wouldn't be surprised if its worked. Notice the only divas responding are the ones involved in the story. If that's how it is, the Bellas are the wrong person to do this. At this point it doesn't really matter who does it. WWE.com posted an article, and as luck would have it, all the divas involved would be on twitter responding to it, all at the same time. Its all WWE produced, and its unsure how much is storyline or real.

It seems that most wrestling sites are completely ignoring this. Good for them. Give it time.

WWE need to hire Sara Del Rey.... RIGHT f***IN' NOW! Yes! This reminds me of Sara's interview with Colt on the Art of Wrestling where Colt told a story about a new model who had been hired when he was in FCW. Apparantly she tried to make a pin by lying on top of a girl who was face down and she didn't understand why the ref didn't count the pin. As an aside, Britani Knight is f***ing hot and talented.

They really should just scrap the whole division and start over. Its not like any of them make the company any money whatsoever.

lol the Bellas just followed the person who wrote the article. They really should just scrap the whole division and start over. Its not like any of them make the company any money whatsoever. If they followed that logic for the whole roster they'd have like 8 people.

like that the article ended with basically,
AJ's good, Maxine's okay, and we're still waiting for Naomi.

The thing is, though, that the only reason that "era" ended is because WWE allowed it to. They brought in more bikini models, fired the good workers, and let Trish and Lita's contracts expire without making any great effort to resign them. Trish and Lita both wanted out(Lita especially what with the bad neck and all). Both had outside projects waiting in the wings. Even if WWE tried hard to resign them, most likely would have been futile. It was hardly a "WWE allowed it to" problem. See. that's just it though. Why did they want out? Trish's post-wrestling career only started picking up steam when she opened her yoga studio. Before that the only thing she did were a couple of failed reality shows. Lita had even less on the table. I could see her wanting time off to rest up or let the Edge scandal die down, but she just flat out retired. If WWE can't even keep their biggest female stars happy, to me that's a sign of how little they regard them.

Beyond that, in Lita's case, blame fans who got WAY too zealous in taunting her. Bet none of them regret that, what with Saint Matthew Hardy to consider. She got out because it just wasn't worth dealing with it anymore.

My girlfriend moved in with me about two years ago and has watched wrestling with me religiously ever since. She immediately took to the Divas division and, despite being fans of Natalya and Beth, has been really disappointed that as they go on this "anti-Barbie doll" campaign, they have started dolling themselves up more than ever. I'm glad to see the Bellas point this hypocrisy out.
The Bellas have improved A LOT dating back to when they were coaches on NXT. Kelly still has a long way to go, but it's flat out stupid to say you can't look like they look and still be a credible women's wrestler. Trish and Lita looked more similar to Kelly and the Bellas than they did to Beth and Natalya, and no one questions their credibility.
There is a lot of potential in the Divas division, and this article is just nonsense. I also want to go on record as saying I love everything about Naomi and I think she's a better wrestler than any woman on the main roster right now. Her match with A.J. on NXT is, in my opinion, an incredibly overlooked match.

She got out because it just wasn't worth dealing with it anymore. I can buy that for Lita. Doesn't explain Trish so much, but I get what you're saying. I can also throw names like Sable and Chyna out there. Or how about Stacy Keibler and Maria? WWE just seems incapable of holding on to females once they become popular. All of them basically used wrestling as a platform to get their name out there and then leave. I still say it's because the WWE is a really horrible career option for women. So, bringing it back to this article, why should a Bria Bella or Kelly Kelly take wrestling seriously when they can just hang around for 4-6 years and hopefully get some mainstream attention so they can make a decent career for themselves once they leave? It hasn't really worked for too many divas (Trish and Stacy have probably done the best), but it's worth a shot. WWE doesn't take womens wrestling seriously, they don't protect their female stars (like you said with Lita), so they hardly have any room to wonder why the division is such a joke.

Trish and Lita got in, got what they wanted, and got out with their health and (according to what JR has said in the past) a fair amount of money in the bank. Neither of them got out to seek further fame and fortune (for the most part) they just followed their passions. Lita with her music and Trish with her yoga studio (which took time to get set up and get going as with any business).
The WWE.com article has been noticeably changed to make Kelly and the Bella's sound better. Really I don't think they read it properly in the first place.

WWE need to hire Sara Del Rey.... RIGHT f***IN' NOW! I agree, but apparently she doesn't want to be there unless the division gets treated seriously (can someone more in-tune to indy women's wrestling confirm or deny this, please?). Someone asked about Sara Del Rey? ;D From what i've heard on interviews, the only thing WWE has to do is give her a call and she will sign the contract (not without reading it first of course).

Their problem is that when they've been spending all these years looking for the next Trish Stratus...she was right under their nose. Fans loved Mickie James & Melina and WWE screwed around and lost them both.
Now they are stuck with the two they keep shoving down our throats (Kelly Kelly & Eve) and fans are mild for both. While the internet crowd loves Beth & Natalya...live crowds can give a crap less. Neither have an ounce of charisma between them and it shows. Both hear crickets when they come out. Look @ Natalya's run as a babyface champion...did that end out of nowhere or what? They simply realized that nobody gave a damn.
And still don't to this day.

Beth was crazy over initially as a heel. Then she was a good amount over as a face with Santino. She was a fine face against Laycool.
WWe can get divas over, they just suck on keeping them over. They like to focus one diva at a time.
Except Trish, who I loved, but was like Poochie. Where's trish? Trish doesn't have the title or fueding with the champ but is in the main diva angle.

IMO the bigger issue isn't just the lack of training for the diva's,It's the the way wwe has portrayed females in general as either unimportant throw aways to fill time or fodder for soft core porn.
The only way I see this being fixed is a retooling of the division with not just a focus on mat wrestling but a focus on making the diva's look and feel important and worth watching,Having them fight over a stereotypical girlie belt,Having them each have their own special stage taunt and giving them contrived moves won't do that.

Not really. Her PPV matches aganist Candice (Unforgiven, No Mercy), Mickie (Armageddon), and Melina (One Night Stand) may be even worse than today's Divas matches in terms of killing the audience. The No Mercy match with Candice in particular was bad because it happened in Chicago in front of a crowd who were pretty hot for most of the show.
