It's only a 'dream match' that one time. Take for example the return match with Hogan/Rock.. that wasn't a big deal, at all. Sir, that match introduced the world to Sylvain Grenier and you claim it WASN'T a big deal?! For shame....

Rock shouldn't beat Cena at all, regardless of how many matches they have.
Cena is in his prime and has been an active wrestler for the better part of a decade, and is the current face of not just WWE, but wrestling in general to the mainstream. For someone whose glory days were over a decade ago to come back and beat him would be ridiculous.

1.Ok, why would anyone inside WWE tell figure four weekly this news? Maybe it's the same guy that keeps telling the dirt sheets that Sin Cara is "totally getting fired this time?"

I don't really care about the whole hype of the match, so I really don't know if I want to see them wrestle 3 times until I see them wrestle once. If they put on a great match that one barely wins (perhaps through nefarious means), I would definitely be excited to see it again.

There first match is only so big because it's the Rock's return match, and because it's at Wrestlemania in the Rock's home town. Anywhere else, and at any other time, the match would just be meh.

No...one match only.
If they HAVE to have more than one...it has to be at Summerslam. And the other has to win.
One man can't win the feud entirely if it's two matches. One match - Rock Wins.

One match.
Cena wins.
Why is that so hard?
Rock has nothing to gain. He will not be full time.

Bad idea. If you basically tell everyone that the first match really doesn't matter (especially when the first match is taking place at Wrestlemania of all place) than I expect them to not get as many people to buy the show as they would have were it a one off match.

The only way doing a return match would work at all - and even then, you only really need one - is if, and this will never happen, Rock won at Mania then the show ended with Cena turning heel and leaving him a broken, bloodied wreck. Then you could do a rematch at SummerSlam - but trying to milk the match three times while keeping both guys with this, "I respect but don't respect bur respect," crap going for four more months after they've already done it the first time just would not work at all.

One match. Cena wins. Why is that so hard? Rock has nothing to gain. He will not be full time. Because WWE is obsessed with sending the fans home happy now. And this kinda boxes them into a corner.

One of them will end up getting injured and none of this will happen probably (except the 'Mania match).

It missed the last part of the plan where the 3rd match takes place on NXT season 5 finale next December.
Rock wins and gets to move on to season 6 of NXT with pro Lucky Cannon

This happens to be the third straight thread that I've hit that has involved fantasy booking, which I dislike so much. Just so... dorky. I'll fantasy book on my video games, but that's as far as I go, until now...
I shall make the dumbest of fantasy bookings.
Have the three matches, and in each match have a ref bump where a 2nd ref enters the ring. In all three matches, have both men be declared the winner by two refs via double pin (poorly bridged german suplex or something), double submission (a reversed figure 4 leg lock so both men are in pain and submit), and lets get really crazy and go with a count-out victory where both refs count 1 of the guys as being out of the ring while the other is in.
This is no more crazy than the post I read where basically Randy Orton would lose twice to Cody Rhodes to protect Daniel Bryan's win/loss record in title matches.

Isn't every feud nowadays a best of 3?

Isn't every feud nowadays a best of 3? Hart Dynasty/Cryme Tyme was a best of 6,591,893 series.

I'm not surprised, they're going to want to squeeze every drop out of it they can.
Backlash in particular would be the one they'd be looking to boost, like they did with Rock and HHH in 2000.

Wrestlemania will be the only one that matters so I don't see the point....Cena doesn't need to beat the Rock to "put over the new generation" ...Cena's been "The Man" for what...5-6 years now???

I could only see this if they were bringing someone back who they weren't sure could still go. So they had the idea of three matches, on the off chance the first one 'sucked'.
It's newzy to me, so I hope they dont do it. Rock vs Other people sure, but not cena three times

Epic matches shouldn't have rematches every time.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
This is one of those times it should be one and done.
