The problem with trying to turn Triple H heel is that nobody'd go along with it. Hell, you can tell they're already trying to paint him as a strawman stuffy boss to Punk, except the way it's being delivered Punk comes off more like an idiot who needs to get his priorities in line and stop bitching about everything.

IDK how I would feel about NWO in 2011. I enjoyed NWO 2002, but hated it in 2010 when TNA had the click. It's what killed my interest and I haven't watched tna since. X pac and Nash would be around, maybe use Booker in the stable since he is a past member. There just isn't room for anything good to come of it, unless Punk were to single handedly destroy the group in one night and semd them packing forever which would be the only logical thing at this point the wwe to do, but then it's just Vince s***ting on the legacy of wcw again. Nothing good could come from an NWO feud with Punk. Then if Punk were to join, suddenly all of this talk about relevance and change etc. Was for nothing as he simply sided with the old and no longer favors the new. Just doesn't make sense. I highly doubt they will bring in X-Pac as a wrestler considering it has been rumored that he has Hepititus C. I don't think they will bring back the NWO. I think that was the whole reason they had Nash come out to the NWO music and they wrote that article on WWE.com. It would just be way too obvious. I think they have something else planned. I'm hoping for a HHH heel turn because I hate face bosses. Right, if you look at NWO lite in TNA you had out of shape Hall, Balding X pac. There is a sig somewhere with the three of them that said old world order. X pac could logically be a manager, as Booker could be a nwo commentator, if they really wanted to bore us they would re add the Big Show. Nothing really good could come of an NWO at this point...Now a HHH heel turn would be cool, because heel HHH puts people over like a mofo. If Hunter does for Punk what he did for Batista our heads would explode. Plus HHH vs Punk has been a dream match of mine, because I think we would see the Pepsi Plunge.

They've actually done Triple H / Punk before and not even teased that, so probably not. Plus Punk stopped doing it to protect his knees. As for putting people over, the thing is that Batista was really the only person who ever benefited from feuding with Triple H. Cena too to an extent, but one thing people tend to forget is that virtually every time they've faced each other one-on-one since Hunter's beaten him. And for that matter Triple H's insistence on having that match at all screwed up Cena for awhile in that the Edge feud had the ratings up much higher than they had been and people were cheering for Cena for the first time in ages, but it was dropped for absolutely no reason besides his desire to main-event. But then, I wouldn't object to Punk not getting a Batista push because really, I don't like him as a main eventer. Love him as an upper midcarder, but I don't at all buy him in the main event scene and I think his usual shtick isn't a good fit for him.

Because they're not owning it. Hunter needs to be bad full tilt for this approach to work. He's got good will and all that but if he's bad enough, it'll work. He's not, so it's not. This is why I was saying this whole thing isn't helping Punk, at least as much as it could. There needs to be no questions as to who the crowd should be behind - Punk. This is too gray of an area.

PWInsider are saying that they have full details on the Nash Release. Is anyone subscribed to PWInsider and can tell us what they are saying and whether it is just bullcrap speculation from them?

I missed it regardless, but the idea of a HHH Punk feud that went til wrestlemaina and ended with a huge spot, the pepsi plunge. The only way Punk could beat HHH, the only way he could stop the man who was barely stopped by the Undertaker at mania was to pedigree him from the turnbuckle. It's a cool one time spot and tells a story.

I would love it if he pulls a Pillman(Using a real release that was done for an angle to jump ship).

The announcement that WWE has released Kevin Nash from their website today is part of the TV storyline. Nash was signed to a Legends deal after the Royal Rumble earlier this year and has not been signed to a new performer’s contract since returning to TV.
Nash has been reaching out to some people and saying that he’s released, but most don’t believe him

Yeah, that's so blunt and so obviously not true that it's clearly a bad attempt at fooling people. Like, removes what little doubt there was, that.

Probably kayfabe, but if it's true, hey at least he lasted longer than Marty Jannetty's last 7 runs.
