Does anybody else find it hilarious how they go out of their way to show their hatred, more than fans show their appreciation? You see this a lot on sites like YouTube specifically with Bieber (at the moment anyway, it was the Jonas Brothers a couple of years ago), with all the "better than Bieber!" comments. It's just funny, if you hate something you'd think you wouldn't want to talk about it, but you seem to see the exact opposite an awful lot.

"Because they're being shoved down my throat!"
In reality, no one's forcing them to watch the videos or awards shows, let alone read the magazines featuring them.

There are a lot of artists I don't like. If you asked me about them, I would tell you. If you don't ask, then I wouldn't say anything. I don't think it's necessary to go on and on about bands you don't like. Seems counterintuitive.

I dont mind when people voice their opinions on music on movies, i just cant stand the people who voice their opinion and put other people down.
1. I cannot STAND Coheed and Cambria! - Doesnt bother me at all!
2. I hate Coheed and Cambria and the gay scene kids that listen to it! - Now that really bugs me, but i never bother getting into an arguement on the internet.

I'm on Blabbermouth every day and there's a lot of hate on there, some deserved but most not deserved.

It isn't like Beiber is the worst thing that happened to the industry. He does have some talent. I always find it best to ignore Youtube comments. SOME of those people seem to lose their intelligence whenever they post.

There are artists who I don't like either, but I never go out of my way to disrespect them. Hell, I still respect them. Just because I don't like them doesn't mean I can't respect them.

If they spent this time and energy promoting their favorite band, they might win over new fans and help their band achieve success.
However, this would open them up to the same ridicule they try to deal out to other music fans, and they can't expose themselves to that kind of scrutiny.

I guess in their minds, they're trying to convince people that there are better things out there. I'm sure some of the people think they're doing good.

Yeah I see this all the time with Lady Gaga. I wouldn't care if you hated her, but please get your facts straight about her and, two, why are you spending so much energy on something you don't care about? I personally don't like Bieber, but I never make it known because I simply don't care at all.

I don't have a problem with Justin Bieber. I don't care for him, but I don't hate him either. Also, even if I did listen to Justin Bieber, why should anybody care?

I cant stand the Bieber hate anymore. He isnt even that bad compared to the likes of Kesha. But everywhere on YouTube, insecure morons just keep ripping on Bieber.

I'd honestly never heard of Justin Bieber until quite recently. People's arguments about his image and music being plastered everywhere is extremely false.
In fact, the first time I heard of him was when that awesome Bieber/Slipknot mash-up was on YouTube.

I've never even HEARD a Bieber song. It's not that hard to avoid stuff. I've only heard parts of that "Baby" song because they've played snippets of it on Mike and Mike, and also sometimes on HLN when Robin Meade's show is going to commercial (work in a hotel so the breakfast tv has to be on weather or news). My only response to that is "Really, that's the kid that's getting the huge backlash? It's inoffensive music."

I liked Friday in all it's horrible glory. I'll be honest the first time I heard it I laughed. But at the end of the day who cares, some of the people who tore her down were just pathetic. How anyone can say such mean things to a little girl for making something that no one would have probably even seen is beyond me. Have a laugh, move on. Leave it at that.

Please, this whole Bieber hate is no different than the hate that N'Sync and Backstreet Boys got back in the late 90s-early 2000s. Bieber is mainly known for his "Baby" song but even I don't think that's a bad song. The fact that he is mentioned on unrelated music videos is bad enough, but I honestly hate it with a burning passion when I see Justin Bieber's name on a comment on those videos and saying things like "That dislike bar is the size of Justin Bieber's penis." Plus, I hate those "You say (Current artist) I say (Old artist)" chain comments.

Why don't people like The Dickies?
For as many threads as I see about the Killer Klowns movie, I have yet to see one thread started in appreciation of this fine group.
I just don't get it.
