Only about 1400 more points to get exalted with Stormwind. Hopefully I can finish that after work, its getting old doing low level quests lol. Could do some battlegrounds I guess. Yeah, low levels can suck, even for lore junkies like me.

DPS pets are fine to tank single targets, but if you get multiple mobs, elites, etc, need an actual tank pet to do AOE threat, as well as have multiple taunts to keep aggro. Well, I got my bear, who is a tank. I'll add another at level 42.

Yesterday was the first day I didn't level since starting the game again. Thats due to doing all these low level quests and instances for Stormwind rep. I want a horse dammit! buy a stormwind tabbard and grind dungeons. I have the tabard. I'm doing a string of quests in rebel camp, so those may be enough to finish it off, since each one has been giving 275 rep.

I hate to say it, but in my opinion, Outland starting at 58 is the biggest level grind in the world. Then again, that's just because I like either running "by rails" or having the quests all focused in hubs. They got much better in Northrend and in the Cata zones, but Outland... sheesh...

Well I got my horse. Now I'm at level 67 grinding it out in Nagrand to get to 68 so I can head to Northrend. I've been there already killing monsters on the beach lol.

Almost at 70, but this Last Rites quest is a pain in the ass. Normally I've been able to solo most quests meant for more than one person. Not this one though. Emo guy keeps dying lol.

There's also a distinct lack, if not outright removal, of escort quests once you get past Outland. Thank God. There were way too many of them in the BC content.

There's one in Grizzly Hills that I know of where you have to escort a rabbit. Otherwise there really are none in Northrend. In fact, here's the quest: www.wowhead.com/quest=12027

Well this is a Northrend quest. Its not so much of an escort as it is to fight with the guy and keep him from dying. I'm gonna have to have some help, so I can just wait there for someone else to show up, or ask for guild help.

INteresting. I have a hunter at level 65. It's not so much the animal as it is what talent tree it follows. A tanking pet such as a Gorilla is very beneficial for levelling. Funny, been using a bobcat in the DPS tree for my pet for the last few levels (granted, I'm still sub-45) and that has worked well for me. us.battle.net/wow/en/character/argent-dawn/Daerlin/simpleDPS pets do work for levelling. I prefer tanking pets becuase they allow me to solo group quests and hold aggro better.

Well, after about a month back in the game, I've finally made it to the Cata zones. I'm currently questing my way through the Shimmering Expanse, and hopefully in short order will have my first Level 85 character.
Now, to those who have 85's and have been through it, I have a question: Are there any good types (as in Earthbreaker, Fireflash, and Wavecrest) of armor for a Druid to use on the way to the long awaited goal?

Finally hit level 80! I'm sure getting to 85 will be a major grind, but Northrend was really getting boring. It's good to be somewhere else finally.

The Cata zones have really linear quest progression so you almost won't notice the grind if you get invested in the questlines' stories. Between that and regular dungeoning it doesn't take TOO long to get to 85.
I'm probably going to hold off on leveling any alts through the 70's until 4.3 hits though. The reduced experience required per level should help nicely with that.

85 is going to zip by. Best advice: Water world, Hyjal, Deepholm, Uldum, TZ. With luck, you'll hit 85 in either Deepholm or Uldum. Better yet, you'll have the dailies for Firelands unlocked by the time you are done with the zones.

I've thought about playing again, but I'm saving my MMO addiction for Knights of the Old Republic.
And honestly, I'm probably in a minority but I sort of long for the old days of WOW where there wasn't any LFD queues or anything. They really brought out the worst in people IMO.

On the one hand, this is pretty true. On the other hand, not having to spend the better part of the day spamming Trade for a group more than makes up for people being dicks to each other, and I would like to never have to go back.
