I reckon Rhodes/Show will open the show. Forgot that Santino is on Team Teddy so yep that probably will open. The divas match will probably come right before Rock/Cena.

1. Rhodes/Show 2. Orton/Kane 3. Bryan/Sheamus 4. 12-man tag 5. Punk/Jericho 6. HHH/Taker 7. Rock/Cena This is how I would have done it. I think they need the divas on there somewhere to serve as a buffer between the top two matches, or the crowd is going to have nothing left by the time they get to the main. I'd be fine with that. I just assumed since the divas division is at an all-time low, they'd just scrap the idea of making sure at least some are on the card. Also, I don't think the Taker/HHH match will tire the crowd out as much as some think. If the match is getting 25-30 minutes, it's likely to be pretty slow paced, considering the superstars involved. So the crowd will likely only react to the big spots, thus giving them plenty of rest time before Rock/Cena.

Considering they stopped building up Eve vs. Kelly this week, and Zack's now petitioning to be on Team Teddy in the battle of the GMs match, I can definitely see there being no Divas match at all and sticking to the seven announced matches.
And of course, it's depressingly likely that the 12-man tag match will be shorter than the combined entrances of everyone involved.
So, as far as what goes on first... I'll guess Big Show vs. Cody, though I could see them going with either of the world title matches just to kick off 'Mania with a big match. In which case, I'd imagine they'd go with Punk/Jericho as a hot opener. Bryan/Sheamus could easily be used as the breather match right after the HiaC.

There will be a Divas match. They posted a video on WWE.com where Eve and Beth are pissed that Maria Menounos is interviewing Kelly Kelly instead of them. So there will be a match involving Maria and Kelly vs Eve and Beth. Don't know if they'll do a repeat of last year, but I'd say there will be a Divas match.

Something along those lines, right?

7. John Cena vs. The Rock 6. Randy Orton vs. Kane 5. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho 4. Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show 3. The Undertaker vs. Triple H 2. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus 1. 12-Man Tag
How I'd book it if it's really only seven matches this year.

A good thing about the WWE Title is on first is there is no way they can cut the match short, due to the later matches potentially get cut down on time if they run over on anything. They wont have that in the opening match, but I just wont be able to put up with the WWE title being the first match on the show.
I say Cody vs Show start or Kane vs Orton. WWE Title can go on second or third imo

It's between Rhodes/Show and Bryan/Sheamus in my opinion.
Any promos for Cena/Rock should be limited to: *A quick "Earlier today..." thing of Cena and Rock arriving at the stadium after the first match *A not too short, not too long backstage promo from Cena and Rock each *A short side-by-side thing of Cena and Rock warming up about half an hour before the match *Final hype vid before the match

Rock backstage interview with Lilian Garcia...don't see how this does not happen.
But a promo out in the ring that is in no way shape or form happening...it would kill The Rocks entrance for the actual match dead in the sun...and The Rock walking out to wrestle for the first time in 7yrs at mania is pretty much gonna be a spectcle in and of its self...I expect Layla if she is not involved with the other divas to help lead The Rock to the ring with miami heat dancers.

I have no problem with Punk/Jericho being first. The crowd will be really hot for the opener, and they'll likely get more time if they're on first.

I think they'll want a face winning to open to show so Sheamus/Bryan and Orton/Kane would be the safest bets

You know, I really don't think opening the show would be such a bad spot for Punk-Jericho or especially Bryan-Sheamus.
Opening the show to me is more important than being the second or third match. And any later than that and you're probably following Taker-HHH when the crowd could be spent from that match and saving themselves for Rock-Cena.
I just think it'll be funny if any of the title matches go on late and have a subdued crowd and people afterwards are like "you know what, maybe this should have went on first."

It seems that they still want to position Sheamus as the next big babyface, so I imagine that the order would look like this: 1. Team Johnny Ace vs Team Teddy Long 2. Cody Rhodes vs Big Show 3. Kane vs Randy Orton 4. Triple H vs The Undertaker 5. Divas Match (If there isn't a Divas match then the 12 man tag would go here) 6. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho 7. Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan 8. John Cena vs The Rock or 1. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho 2. Cody Rhodes vs Big Show 3. Kane vs Randy Orton 4. Triple H vs The Undertaker 5. Team Johnny Ace vs Team Teddy Long 6. Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan 7. Divas Match (If there isn't a Divas match then it goes straight to Rock/Cena) 8. John Cena vs The Rock
The Hall of Fame recap would go before the Hell in a Cell match.

1. Rhodes/Show 2. Orton/Kane 3. Bryan/Sheamus 4. 12-man tag 5. Punk/Jericho 6. HHH/Taker 7. Rock/Cena This is how I would have done it. Having the two biggest matches near the end would tire the crowd out.

I think my personal layout would be...
1. Punk / Jericho 2. Cody / Big Show 3. Triple H / Taker 4. Kane / Orton 5. Clusterf*** 6. Bryan / Sheamus 7. Rock / Cena
