Good Mania for the most part. The big matches delivered. It was 10x better than last year. I coulda done without Brodus' dance party and the entrance performers. I enjoyed the show a lot and Rock winning put a nice cap to it all.

I thought it was a great PPV. Aside from the opening match and the Diva bathroom break it was well booked and the matches were good. People are so picky these days.

A few thoughts:
I hated the Sheamus/DB match. They were in a great spot opening the show, & they both should've gotten the chance to tear the house down & impress any new fans.
Kane & Orton was boring.
The Divas match was the best match of the 1st hour. Maria was into it, and everyone was working hard. Good work.
Show & Cody was meh. I wasn't expecting much there though.
HIAC... very good match. Great storytelling by all three men, every spot mattered and the false finishes were amazing. I thought it was over with the Chin Music/Pedigree combo. The ending with all 3 walking out together was a great visual.
The tagger match paid off the Ryder/Eve angle perfectly so it served its purpose.
Jericho/Punk? Technically good, but it felt like it was missing that special intangible that are in the excellent matches. Maybe it was the DQ stip, but I just felt like it was missing something.
Rock/Cena was a great match. Well wrestled, it had a good pace & the finish sets up Cena going in the future. It feels like they've been doing a slow Cena turn since last Mania, as he's lost all his big matches recently (Miz last Mania, Punk twice & Rock tonight).

I thought it was great not the greatest but great.
Although the running theme of starting off slow and then build really wore thin , IMO Rock Vs Cena should have been just full steam and that were too many pause moments hurt this match but not enough to dampin it for me as I felt it was awesome.
And it was odd and still have yet to really process if it really worked throwing all the filler at beginning and leaving all the big matches to basically go one after the other.
All in all 4/5 an awesome show that has its misteps.

I think this was the best Wrestlemania since 19. The Bryan stuff aside, this was a great show. Orton vs Kane was better than I thought it would be. Big Show getting his big win and shutting Cody up was good too. I could take or leave the divas. HIAC was everything I wanted it to be and more. The 12 man tag was a lot of fun and a great way to break up the show after the HIAC intensity. Punk vs Jericho was a classic that took the crowd awhile to get into. The last five minutes were spectacular. The Rock and Cena definitely delivered and it will be interesting to see where they go from here.
Overall I loved the show and after reading a lot of comments, a lot more than most people here.

The result of Bryan/Sheamus killed it for me. I couldn't get into it after that. Seemed like a sloppy protected Wrestlemania.

HIAC was classic. Punk and Jericho was good. Rock/Cena was fun. That gives it a B for me. Bryan could have pushed it to an A

Mostly I feel it was underwhelming. Everything up to HIAC was garbage, after that the show picked up and was generally good, although the pacing/order seemed off throughout.
HIAC was great. Not amazing, but very entertaining. Punk/Jericho was good but suffered in the beginning due to the unneeded last minute stip. Cena/Rock was satisfying.
Thanks to all who posted in the thread, it made the show more enjoyable, esp. at the beginning.
I hope Raw is good. WWE really need to mix things up coming off of this show.

Complete waste of currency. I was looking forward to it beforehand, but holy balls was that bad. And if this ends up meaning another year of Rock and Cena BS, this goes down as one of the worst Manias I've ever bought on PPV.

I don't understand the reasoning behind the WHC match. But the first hour was just wirdly timed to me. All the matches after the first hour were very good to great. I do wish that they would stop doing the mini concert and instead focus on what the people paying for want. THAT IS WRESTLING. People are not buying this for a concert or for advertisements. In a four hour show you had only about 2 hours of wrestling. This is a problem to me. I just watched a lot of the older Wrestlmanias and the timing of those need to be studied. All that aside I am happy I bought the show. No regrets.

My big problem with Rock/Cena is the best case scenario is its setting up a Cena heel turn. But why not have Punk go over him clean months ago during the Punk leaves/returns storyline to set that up? Why did it have to be a guy who hasn't wrestled a singles match in years?
Otherwise, there were just too many questionable booking decisions. I don't need another heel GM, I didn't need the stip that threw off the first half of Punk/Jericho, and I certainly didn't need a "18 second" (most of it spent on a kiss) WHC match, I didn't need Funkasarus' mama, Flo Ride, or MGK. The bad just outweighed the good.

Good, but not great. Had massive potential that it didn't live up to.
-I guess I get the Bryan/Sheamus finish but that would have been a great wrestling match. -I could have done without the Maria Munousous match. -Big Show/Cody was a turd. -Kane/Orton was a turd. -Taker/HHH was great. Really, really great. Probably the match of the night. I wasn't huge on last year's effort, but I really dug tonight's offering, especially with the amount of emotion involved. -Punk/Jericho was okay. Terrible stip and a slow start killed a lot of the momentum and excitement but when they ceased to have Jericho verbally taunt Punk, it became fun. It was a good match but I had hoped for much, much better. I look forward to a rematch, though. -Rock/Cena was, again, just okay. I liked it and the finish was great but I found myself becoming bored and being distracted by other things.

Without the first hour, this may have been in the upper echelon of WMs.
But that first hour seemed designed solely to get the show off to the worst start possible and kill the crowd dead. It was like those four matches were to allow the crowd to build up a load in order to shoot that load on HHH/Taker, and then the GMs match and Jericho/Punk struggled to recover, and while both matches did manage to get the crowd back into it in spots, it seemed the crowd was saving its energy for Rock/Cena.

average show. daniel bryan/sheamus was inexcuseable and left a bitter taste in my mouth. if they treated the match with justice, the show could"ve been decent to good. jericho/punk and hhh/taker are MOTY candidates. rock/cena was decent but not great. cody/show and orton/kane were okay but ordidnary. divas match was a divas match, and johnny/teddy was a mess imo. but bryan/sheamus ugh, if they were gonna do it, don't make it the first match of the show. i couldn't get over it until hell in a cell. all that being said, it was stil MILES away better than 27.

Better than last year. In terms of actual matches the HHH vs Taker match was phenomenal. Excellent job by 3 great vets. The Punk/Jericho match moved a little slow for my liking, however, they both put on a high quality title match. The main event was way better than I expected it to be. John Cena has risen to the point of a good credible wrestler(god i cant believe I just said that). The Rock for being out of the ring for 10 years did a pretty good job, sans Sharpshooter. But you could tell Cena was working his butt off and beat Rock to spots a couple times.
My biggest complaint is the crowd. The WWE needs to stop with the open air stadiums and crap wrestling cities. The crowds absolutely kills the vibe of the shows. Domes are alright because the sound will echo down. The choice of cities was inexcusable. Miami can't even get a crowd to a world series championship game, let alone a Wrestlemania, and you expect them to sell out? Let alone be a hot wrestling crowd for 7 matches? Put it in New York or Detroit or Houston every year.

Best WM in quite some time for me.
Hell in a Cell was fantastic storytelling -- best Taker WM match of the last four, IMO, without question. Which is saying something.
Last-minute stip to me made sense -- Johnny Ace in charge of Raw and SD is supposed to lead to friction, and friction with Punk is where is should start. I don't see how it had a negative impact on the match at all, gave it some good psychology early. Punk had been boiling over after Jericho's promos the last few weeks, so there was reason to believe he'd lose it. And the seamless counters rolling one move into another on both guys' parts were the art at its finest to me.
I liked the Sheamus/DBD swerve -- got the show off to a bang, wasn't expecting it. I like being surprised. If I'm not surprised, wrestling gets boring pretty quickly. Some people on here would have s*** on the match no matter how it went, so why not use it as a gotcha?
Cena-Rock was as good as it could be considering Rocky's rust. He's in shape, but not ring shape to me because rolling around in a gym isn't the same as carrying moves at a better pace in front of 70,000. He was gassing halfway through, but got through it and delivered.
Orton, IMO, is awful. He can't or won't take bumps. He has to take a breather every 2 minutes -- it's one thing if that happens in a 30-minute PPV main event and you need to set an even pace, but when pretty much every match you are in involves rest holds (multiple) and/or long periods outside the ring where nothing is happening, you need to address that problem.

I love the sly way that Vince has simultaneously admitted his mistakes with the John Cena character, while falling into the same traps with the way he's power-booked Sheamus at the expense of technical wrestlers and indy favorites.
IMHO, HBK stole the show again. Assist to Taker.

It was a tremendous 3-hour show. I would've cut the pre-show to just the tag matches, though.
