Admit it, this is one change Hogan and Bischoff have made in TNA for the better.
I can't believe TNA ever had that gimmicky, six sided monstrosity in the first place.
Agree? Disagree?

Disagree. I loved the six sided ring. Looked great, the matches flowed better and actually meant something then.

Apparently the four sided ring is better on the body. The 6 sides though separated them from the pack and made them stand out.

I like the 4 sided ring better. I felt the six-sided ring looked too small, especially during tag team matches when they try to cut the ring in half.

The change to the four-sided ring was actually my first inkling that things were about to go downhill.

Disagree there. The six sided ring gave TNA its own identity and left openings for some unique ideas, while the four sided one just makes it like any other company.

I have always, always hated the six-sided ring. I thought it looked lame, it seemed odd to work in and it was just a bit strange.
However, when it went away, I thought it was stupid. Not only because it was symbolic of what Bischoff and Hogan were doing to the company, but also because it was part of what made TNA unique. You could do things in a six sided ring that you couldn't do in the squared circle.
I hated it, but I miss it.

strongly disagree. The 6-sided ring made TNA unique and distinctive. I think this a Hogan bias that Dixie swallowed hook, line, and sinker.

Six-sided ring made them look bush league, so, yeah I'm happy it's gone.

I hate the 6 sided ring solely because most guys didn't even bother to do anything innovative with all of the extra angles and there wasn't a big enough space turnbuckle to turnbuckle, IMO>

Got used to six sides, but after some.initial concern the four sided American cousin won me over. Pro wrestling should be inside a four sided ring

I liked the 6 sides. It made the promotion look more like MMA or something. It also made 3-way matches look more natural. The 6 sided ring really made TNA look different.
With that said, I heard AJ Styles or someone say the 4 sided ring is a lot easier to take bumps on. Therefore, I don't argue they should switch back anymore.

I thought it was something cool for the X-Division to have the 6-sided ring because I believed the X-Division guys would make better use of it rather than the veterans who were used to work the normal 4-sided ring. It was sometimes painful to watch it. So, it's not a big deal to me that Hogan & Bischoff opted to go back to the 4-sided ring. There are actual bigger problems to solve with the product other than whether to use the 4-sided or 6-sided ring.

I'm a traditionalist in a sense, so I was kind of happy with the change to the four sided ring. However, I agree that it took away something unique to TNA, as far as US televised wrestling. And Hogan's explanation was just garbage, he came off like a condescending dinosaur.

I liked the six sided ring. I don't mind a "traditional" four sided ring either. I do however despise HOW the six sided ring was got rid of. Hogan and Bischoff basically trashing the fans, the product, the ring and in fact pretty much everything and anything that didn't sit with THEIR view of what Impact should be.
Fine, if you want the six sides to go, WRITE IT OUT of the show. Have a Big Show/Lesnar moment - someone performing a high impact move (possibly even during an Ultimate X match) which causes the ring to collapse. Then replace it with four sides at the next show.
The fact that Hogan/Bisch came out at the start of the first ppv of their "era" and the ring had simply CHANGED with no explanation, was pathetic.
The fact that apparently few to none of the wrestlers working their were told about the impending change (didn't AJ say he turned up on the day of the show to see the new ring in place) sadly also gave a pretty clear indication of H&B's attitude and approach to the promotion.
